God is committed to being personally present with me!? If I’m only aware of His presence with me in every single moment of my life, I’ll be under His influence to live my life wisely & making the most of it. Tim, I will pray for you always!! The Lord bless you and keep you as we continue to press on towards the goal the Messiah Jesus has called us heaven ward. God bless your wife and your adorable son! Thank you Father, for this brother Tim Mackie. One thing I am working thru and allowing the Holy Spirit to help me in change in this area is...becoming an early riser and making more of the day! I still get things done, but at a much slower pace which can also be called at times procrastination. I really allow the Spirit to speak life into me as I ask him for help. Would appreciate your prayers and all others who view this comment. 🌞🌞🌞🌞🎶🎶🎶 thank you!🙏🙏🙏🙏

I love how straight forward you are. It's so clear what the scripture is saying when you show us how not to only hear it but actually walk it out. I struggled with cocktails after work for a long time. My flesh always won. But one day I listened to a teaching called, "the spiritual consequences of alcohol" on the internet. It woke me up to the demonic spirits in alcohol. Jesus said do not share from the table of demons and also the table of the Lord. I still have the temptation but like you pointed out I yield and focus on what the holy spirit is making me to be. Waiting on the Lord is hard but he is so patient. Amazingly the holy spirit has taken the desire away. I pray constantly for his help throughout the day to resist, and he has surely manifested himself in me! Amen Amd also Im so glad how you said having sex outside of marriage is not appropriate if we want to walk in the spirit. So true and good to hear a teacher point that out. Some teachers don't want to meddle. Thanks Tim. Praise be to God.🕊️📖🙏

How intense was the shaking? I’ve felt Gods presence but it’s always overwhelming peace, no shaking involved.
@tellingthestoriesofourfaith3214 жыл бұрын
@@dannyjohn179 Only once was it very intense. I've just been overwhelmed by joy. This happened when I got saved, but its occured occasionally while alone and listening to a hymn while walking through nature or looking at the stars. Its when I witness God's glory and my own insignificance and realize the magnitude of an infinite being's love for such a fragile human such as myself. I guess it's like being overwhelmed by God's glory. I feel that peace too, it just depends.

I appreciate so much that you are the teacher that you are, you make it so much more interesting and enjoyable. I am wondering if as I invite the influence of the Holy Spirit in my life, will it transform my life and get rid of “curses” I may have a old view on curses, could you give a lesson on the meaning of curses in the Bible, perhaps? I feel I am quite disadvantaged in a couple of areas of my life and I don’t know how to transform it. Thank you.

Beautiful Sermon!!! Really opened my eyes to so much treasures, hidden in a short scripture. Maybe I misunderstood him on talking about Baptism being only a metaphor. Yes, it is a metaphor but it is also a conscious and literal act of faith that signifies one being dead to himself or herself (flesh) & being resurrected with Jesus. Just had to point that out because I grew up thinking that I just have to invite Jesus into my heart with a short prayer and that’s it. The command and action of Baptism is written in Matthew 28:16-20, it is written all over acts, (especially Acts 2)Colossians 2:6-12 & others. He also mentioned being sealed with the Spirit and I totally applaud that. Again, Accepting Jesus into your heart isn’t bad but according to the scriptures, only doing that doesn’t lead to salvation & Holy Spirit. But being physically immersed in water with the faith that you are being crucified with Jesus and that you aren’t living for yourself anymore is prerequisite for Salvation. Again, awesome message 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

People always cite the times of Jesus as allowance for their drinking, but they don't realize how low the alcohol content of the wine they drank actually was. Or they cite Timothy, not realizing that Timothy had stomach problems, and Paul was merely suggesting he have a little wine.

Not really necessary for salvation but it is a public display of an internal commitment and reflects the burial and resurrection, putting to death the old man and resurrecting with Christ, a washing and profession of faith displayed in front of others. But ultimately it's the faith that saves

Brother you are teaching incorrectly and not What Jesus taught.. @5:21 you say that we are to live with all this freedom, and that there aren't that many things required of us. ...I know paul teaches that you its only faith and not by works but that is not what God said, nor his Son. Why are you listening to Paul and rejecting God? Did Paul not say in Rom 3:4 so that you might pass when you are tested...."Let God be true and every man a liar" vs6 Paul says "I speak as man" 3:7 But if Gods truth and abounded THROUGH MY LIE unto glory, why am Still judged as a sinner? Its a rhetorical question, the obvious answer is because lying is a sin, that false prophets do not holy and true prophets. Jesus did not teach that. Jesus warns us about false prophets who say we dont need to bare fruit in order to enter the kingdom. Jesus Said Jesus said we must keep the commandmets in order to have eternal life. . In Rev 22 when he said I am the Alpha and Omega the beginning and the end. the first and the last. Behold I come quickly and my reward is with me to give every man according to what his Work may be. whether they be good or bad. Blessed are they that keep my commandments for they shall eat of the tree of life, but all those who dont keep them are dogs... Paul calls the commandments a curse and teaches us not to keep them. This is anti christ. Who are you going to believe?

I would agree that wisdom is different than mere intelligence, but it's not a physical skill. The passage in exodus you use shows that God gave him not just the knowledge, but also the deep artistic view of how the skill should be carried out. The other reason I say that is the book of proverbs. The only skill there was to know how to write. Of course the meanings behind each proverb is where the wisdom can be seen.
