I'm working on my VBAC after 5 csections. There's definitely no providers here that support me but I still cling to hope and pray that my birth will be peaceful and redemptive.

If you have no provider to support you, what did you decide to do to ensure you have someone help you through your decision? I'm curious because I have only had 1 c section, and my doctor is hesitant on allowing me to attempt a vbac in March. I was told we can attempt a vbac as long as I don't go past 40 weeks. However, my thought behind this is if I go past 40 weeks, I can simply just refuse to schedule a c section? I don't know. They can't force me into a c section if my baby is showing no signs of complications, I would think.

I am only 14 weeks and binging all of your videos for information and encouragement as I’ve decided to have a vaginal birth after 3 cesareans. I haven’t found a provider yet but God really convicted me for believing in faith we’d conceive a girl after having 3 boys but not for how he’d bring her into this world. I’ve tried three times to have a vaginal birth (1 failure to progress, 1 bait and switch situation with a provider, and the last one, heart rate and descending issues after many interventions). I’m learning now that I prepared mentally and physically but not spiritually. This time will be different! 💜

Hello, what is your opinion on a vbac after 4c section? My last c section was just about 12 years ago. I want to have a vbac but everyone is tell me no. Theirs no Dr and mid wife doesn't do vbacs here in Texas. I would like to labor at home andnthen go to the hospital when i feel my body wants to start pushing.

I had a c section only one year ago. They suggested a c section again as the scar is still classed as fresh. Is this true?

I’ve supported mamas have vbacs in under a year so I know it’s possible but it comes down to how your scar looks (can be evaluated by a pelvic floor therapist) to make a better decision.if everything including scar tissue looks good and there’s been no challenges so far and you’re not getting induced, you have a better chance of a successful VBAC.

So I’m on baby #3 and due any day now. My OB says when he does my cervical checks that he feels baby’s head but says baby is still floating and my pelvis might be too small to TOLA2C or for baby to engage, but I didn’t have that problem with my other 2. Any recommendations?

That doesn’t sound like an evidence based comment. We don’t know if your pelvis is too small. Many smaller women birth large babies.

This worries me as well. I was 40 + 6 weeks and baby still didn't descend. I then elected for a C section, i was worried about my placenta aging.
