Was a big moment for us here in Australia too. Seeing a guy we'd watch at small wrestling shows in Sydney now standing in the ring with John Cena, and then going on to main event Smackdown with Edge in Madison Square Garden... truly wild.

Honorable mention Best: no immediate cash in. To be fair, while it's a shame there's not 1 women's title match, having no MITB cash in occur at MITB also became a good thing. For the past few years we've seen whoever wins MITB -- mostly from the women's side -- cash in MITB in less than 24 hours. Iyo Sky has been Ms. MITB for literally a week and MITB cash ins on the same night the briefcase was won have just felt rushed, particularly on the women's side of things. Now it seems WWE is biding their time with both the new Mr. And Ms. MITB.

Knight shouldn't have been in the MitB match at all; he should have his own program going by now.

I disagree. LA's character is perfect for the briefcase, way more so than Damien. I love Damien and he was my second choice to win after LA, but I feel they could do the Judgement Day unrest with Finn and Damien just as easily without the briefcase. Hopefully WWE have big plans for both of them though, and it won't matter in the end that Knight didn't win MITB.

Honorable Mention Worst: The four biggest losers. Becky Lynch is the WWE horsewoman that has been apart of the MITB ladder matches the most has won zero. Zelina Vega's best chance at being a future women's champion is MITB and there's bo guarantee she'll still be over with the fans a year from now so no pulling the trigger on het this year is sort of a missed opportunity. The same thing can be said about Logan Paul who shouldn't have been in the MITB ladder match if he was going to lose. That's a big missed opportunity and I wish Vince McMahon would have changed the script and had The Maverick win instead of Damian Priest or LA Knight who debatably aren't ready to be world champion. Another person i think should have won on the men's side is Shinsuke Nakamura for the same reason i said about Zelina Vega, he's not going to be world champion otherwise. Plus he's apart of 50/50 booking for no reason, winning regular matches but losing bigger ones, and he's supposed to be a Triple H guy? A heel definitely should have won and definitely should have been one from Raw, just not the one they picked.

This list feels like a lot of cherrypicking to reach a quota lmao. How did Shayna turning on Ronda not make sense? She's literally been in Rousey's shadow the second they established they have history irl. Shayna even lost her music and trons, she's only come out to Rousey's stuff with Rousey since they joined up. It made perfect sense and happened at the best time during the match outside of right out the gate. Waller and Cena's segment was also fantastic and put Waller over big time along with him getting to face Edge the upcoming week. Definitely agree Cody/Dom was just a TV match they threw onto the show to give Cody something before finishing the Lesnar feud because, once again, they fucked up at Mania and this is just awful and boring damage control of a dumb decision to pad stats. Gunther/Riddle was a couple minutes too short and felt like it didn't quite make it into the 2nd gear. Definitely was weird neither Women's Champ defended their title, I always hate when they do the whole thing where a champ defends their title right before instead of just being on the card.

Honorable Mention Best: No cash in at MITB. 7 women have won MITB as of Iyo Sky winning the MITB briefcase this year and Iyo Sky is also the second longest women's MITB contract holder despite only holding it for 8 days. Even if she would have cashed in on Raw or SmackDown this past week shed still be the second longest women's MITB contract holder. On the flip side only two men have ever cashed in their MITB contracts on the same day and luckily Priest didn't become the third because one of the best things about MITB is winner holding it for a long time so they can constantly tease when, where, and on who they will cash it in.

Cody vs. Dom was the biggest disappointment for me. That match warranted an appearance by Brock at the very least. Idk how long they knew about Ronda's probable impending departure, but it sounds like they've known about it for some time. In that case, they should have put the titles on Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre. Once again, they completely undermined the women's tag division, but what else is new? Outside of those things, everything else was good to great.

I think you’ve found one bad thing, la knight didn’t win, and even that not so bad because priest is a great winner, cena promo was great, he told the crowd why wwe hate them, had a great pop from start to end, and the london mania is the most awesome thing in the show( except for jey pinning roman). Also i think wwe would make iyo cash in on one of the champions if there was a match, and i really enjoyed the betrayal of shayna on ronda, it got a big pop out of me. Dominik vs cody was not good but it was also not bad, it was really bland but fine overall.

Agree on all counts except for Shayna/Ronda. Even though it didn't make a ton of sense, I was glad to see Shayna turn on Ronda and the belts go back to Liv and Raquel. It might just be because I simply CANNOT STAND Ronda, but there was no two people I less wanted to see as Women's Tag Champs than Ronda and Shayna. Also, it's possible they make it make sense. Shayna can say Ronda was always trying to overshadow her and hold her down and if done right, it could work. As I said, I am definitely biased because I just really, really hate Ronda (as a character on TV, I'm sure she's fine IRL), but that's my view.

What he needs isn't an immediate tittle shot, but a good feud with someone high on the card that could take him into main event levels. Giving him the case now is short term thinking. There's something to be said for capitalizing on his current popularity, but I dont think that his popularity is going to fade overnight, you can work with it for something more long term.

Jey pinning Roman in a nothing tag match was the stupidest decision they went with. this nothing match loss robbed him what would have been 4 years of god mode mystique come the next wrestlemania. i had accepted that LA Knight was going to win. i have never gotten the love for him, he is a mediocre wrestler and has never been more than slightly above average on the mic to me. But i knew i was in the minority, and Knight is massively over, so he made sense as the winner. Im happy he didnt win though, Priests win just feels better to me. I'm sure Knight is going to get a huge push which is the right thing to do with how over he is.

"We've all wanted a Ronda/Baszler feud for a while now" ????? Who? Who tf is we? Since day number 1, the ONLY thing I've wanted to see involving Ronda is seeing Ronda leave the company and literally never return. Maybe not from day 1, but from pretty early on. Her debut with Kurt Angle vs HHH and Steph was very entertaining. Especially because she performed so much better than anyone expected. But I feel like she not only DIDN'T improve over time, but I believe she actually got worse. Every match she's been in has sucked more than the last. So her being booked to win the women's title so soon after her debut was AWFUL. I wish they would've just booked her to be dominant for a while, and then once she built up real credibility, have someone beat her... then let her go away for a bit and only come back for big matches or segments like Brock Lesnar. She should've been booked like a special attraction from the beginning. She should've never been a full time performer that's constantly in the title picture. Or at least just have her win the title like a month or 2 before Mania/Summerslam just to drop it to the next female wrestler in line for a big push. Seeing her wrestle or cut promos every week made me and a lot of people grow tired of her very quickly.
