Honorable mention: Shouldn't: Gunther Gunther has been incredibly dominant since winning the IC championship a year ago. Gunther should no doubt become a world champion down the road -- that's for certain. But he's been presented so strongly, that having him become a world champion, by such shenanigans would be the wrong way to go for him.

In fact, I believe that right when Cody takes the title away from Roman, Dominic should come down cash in on Cody and steal the title from him. They can get title shots pretty easily. It should go to someone like LA night for example, or someone else that still has a long way to go and can propel them to the main event scene over Knight..... Edit: what I’m realizing is there’s a thresh hold for ppl who look like her as a babyface for these adults and it’s a year at most for some. Becky did not put on matches like bianca did on a consistency bases and all she did for a character was call herself the man . Charlotte won these titles multiple times before there was this hate. The ones I could see making sense to win the title are LA Knight, Chad Gable, and Dom Mysterio. I understand why Adam put Dom on the shouldn't list but I think it could be interesting to see him and the Judgement Day be put on top of the card and see how they deal with Dom not being seen as able to carry the title by himself. The other two are pretty obvious. LA Knight is super over and would get a good pop and Gable has deserved a push for a while since he's still one of the best technical wrestlers on the roster and also an incredible character. Edit: For the women's case, I like Io or Bayley to win it. They need to give Damage CTRL something to do and since Dakota is injured, giving one of them the case would give them something to do while they wait for her to return.

I got 5 people who should and shouldn't win MITB. #1: Bobby Lashley (He needs the briefcase but not the title. What I mean is him winning the MITB ladder match would be a bigger accomplishment than him winning the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship or World Heavyweight Championship because he's already been WWE Champion twice and doesn't need be world champion again right now). #2: Finn Balor (He deserves another chance at being world champion but he doesn't need to be right now, especially since he's the leader of Judgement Day). #3: Logan Paul (I can't think of a better way to get either title off of Roman Reigns or Seth Rollins than to have Logan Paul of all people cash in the MITB briefcase but at the same time he's a part timer). #4: Raquel Gonzalez (She should be women's champion sooner than later but I that doesn't mean she should win the MITB briefcase this year instead of next year). #5: Shotzi Blackheart (I feel like if she won than Shotzi would be treated like Liv Morgan last year and while we might cheer for her Triple H will still inadvertently book her badly whether it's have her lose a lot while holding the briefcase or have her face someone more skilled whether it be former MMA fighters or WWE veterans).

I honestly want Iyo Sky to win so she can finally break away from Bayley and go for Asuka hopefully at SummerSlam or even Wrestlemania 40. Zelina would be a good pick as well as she's also been recently getting pushed, but I don't think she's ready for the title scene again especially considering she has fought Asuka for that belt 3 times (or 2) during the Pandemic area and lost all those matches in a few minutes that same way each time. She's gotten better in the ring ever since then, but I think Iyo vs Asuka would be the better match up.

I think the reason Trish is looking better in the ring nowadays is due to the quality of opponents and the expectations of women's wrestling today versus when she was in her prime. More is expected from Trish in the ring, and it's nice to see her be able to meet those expectations.

Should: Matt Riddle (admittedly he needs it the least but giving the MITB briefcase to The Original Bro would be like when RVD was Mr. MITB), Karrion Kross (if anyone would benefit the most from becoming Mr. MITB it would be Karrion Kross), Santos Escobar (I'm not Latino but the thought of Santos Escobar and Zelina Vega both holding the MITB briefcase at the same time makes me happy), Shinsuke Nakamura (doesn't need it as much as Karrion Kross but he still needs it if he's ever going to become world champion in WWE), and Zelina Vega (she's going to be women's champion one day and the best way for her to do it and continue her feud with Rhea Ripley or start a new one with Asuka is by cashing in on one of them and taking their titles). Shouldn't: Chelsea Green (I don't know what Triple H sees in her but I think it would make more sense if Emma won MITB), Mia Yim (if The OC and Judgement Day were on the same brand then it would make a little more sense), Natalya (4-7 years ago before the pandemic I wouldn't have a problem with this because Natalya was still relevant), Tamina (she's on SmackDown but hasn't been on TV in over a year), and Ricochet (IDC if he is a Triple H guy he's not ready to be world champion and even if he did win his title reign would most likely be short).

I think Solo should swap to the Should side of things. While i dont want the Usos to win the briefcase i think Solo would help the Bloodline storyline. He wins, Roman gloats that hes effectively nullified the stipulation by having his new right hand man hold the briefcase. Solo then sits back as his regular enforcer role but notices now that the Usos are gone, Roman's matches are getting much closer, he keeps having to step in when hes not ordered to keep the gold in Roman. Roman then chastises Solo as he did the Usos when they stepped in when not ordered to. This causes Solo to get slower and slower to respond to Roman getting into hot water until he lets a beatdown happen, then only step in when the pin comes to allow Roman to win then immediatly cash in on an injured Roman, effectively breaking up the Bloodline for good

Finn Bálor should’ve been on this list. He needs a big win, especially after losing to Edge as The Demon. He’s definitely a main event talent IMO. I also highly disagree about Edge. He’s in my top 3 of who SHOULD win along with Finn & LA Knight. I’d love a return of the heel Rated R Superstar cashing in MITB for the World Heavyweight title, then you can have him pass #17 to Cena (his greatest rival) in his retirement match with the belt closest to Flair’s Big Gold. Maybe experiment with a Homelander-like character change for Cena (like in Adam’s fantasy booking for his final run) before passing the torch to the next top babyface in the company, like Johnny Gargano or Sami Zayn.

I think Cody could technically finish his story against LA Knight(or Balor or Priest, or whoever cashes in) after he takes the WHC from Seth. I agree though, Sami should still be the one to beat Roman. Not sure if it should stretch all the way to next WM but Sami winning the Rumble and immediately choosing Reigns would be awesome. Iyo cashing in on Asuka leading to an Iyo/Asuka feud would be 🔥

I feel like they kind of booked themselves into a corner with the briefcase this year. At least for the men's. Cody needs to be the one to beat Roman or the whole thing just seems kind of pointless. And the women's NEEDS to hold onto it for more than a day. You did something historic by giving the women a case to begin with and then immediately made it meaningless

If we're not going to have Cody win and declare his shot at SummerSlam, LA Knight is the best choice. For the women, I'm going to actually say Zelina Vega. Who shouldn't? Dominic...I know he's got nuclear heat, but I would wait at least a year before pulling that trigger. And in the women, have to agree with Bianca. Much like Lynch, Belair could use a little time away from the title picture so as to freshen up some.

I feel LA knight should but if not him I feel a good storyline could be have Rollins vs either balor or priest at money in the bank and have Rollins retain then have dominick win the money in the bank and hold onto it till the next month where they have balor vs Rollins at SummerSlam where you could have Rollins retain but then lose it to dominick via cash in (mega heal heat as well as annoying balor a bit cuz it was right after his loss) then have dominick successfully retain the next month against Rollins by judgement day interference then over the next month have Dominick get so arrogant he alienates himself from both priest and balor so all he has is rhea and then have edge get a match at survivor series vs dominick where rhea tries to interfere but is of course stopped by Beth phoenix and edge wins the title he never lost, he then goes on a 4-5 month reign leading to his eventual retirement match at wrestlemania vs someone like priest, balor, Rollins or another talent that deserves a push like this (I know it’s not gonna happen but it’s an interesting idea)

I like LA KNIGHT for the dudes and IYO for the women...( I wanted Trish too...) lol that sets up so much deliciousness. There are those who 'deserve it' and those who could make the best stories - and the best is when it is both! (which is why unfortunately DomDom getting it woulda been the biggest heat getting story ever- imagine the booooooos???!). I was just a little afraid for that...Richochet & Nakamura in there too make this match potentially one of the best and hardest to call/root for in recent memory

As far as the call ups are concerned, putting the briefcase on them wouldn't be bad if WWE does it right(but, of course they won't) tease someone the crowd doesn't want winning right before Indie Hartwell(for example) knocks them off the ladder and claims the briefcase. Then, she needs to hold on to it for a long time; like almost all year. Let her carry it around for the 1st month or 2, then find a reason for it to leave TV. When it leaves TV, the commentators almost immediately should stop bringing it up too. Spend that time building her up with decent feuds away from the title picture. Give her some character and a slow build, while allowing people to forget about her MITB and then let her cash in on someone everyone is ready to see lose(or someone they love if she's a heel.) Great way to build Indie or Zoey, but we all know WWE would screw it up. They don't usually do well with slow builds.

I think and hope roman stays champion as long as possible. His less than often appearances has allowed the TAG TITLES to enter the main event scene and made the MAIN belt feel like a championship again. Roman is pure gold.

What if Gunter won and let Roman know that he was coming to put down the Big Dog as Ring General! To have Champion target Champion would give him a boost while adding to the Bloodline turmoil. This way when all members leave Roman, Paul becomes The imperium advocate, and a worthy challenger is after him like Seth or Cody, the stage would be set up for a all time great Wrestlemania! Cody vs Brock for a career ending match on night one, Seth vs Roman night two with Gunter picking the winner to defeat would solidify his dominant new reign. Gunter the Champion of Champions vs Cody the beast slayer. The Bloodline will take us until the next wrestlemainia and Solo, Jimmy, nor Jay should contend until after Roman falls and turns into savage Roman. Something glimpsed in his run to the titles. Roman has basically been John Cena, HHH, and Bautista at this point. It's time for his Beast, Goldberg, and Viper arch.

I personally would have liked a MITB match where it would all be their first time competing in one. I would have had their qualifying matches going over against credible wrestlers such as Sheamus, Bobby Lashley, Braun Strowman, AJ Styles, Drew McIntyre, Rey Mysterio, Edge etc. I would have had LA knight, Bronson Reed, Bron Brekker, Jey Uso, Dominik Mysterio, Damien Priest, Montez Ford and finally Logan Paul. You make a new credible star in not just the winner. BTW someone correct me if my picks have been in a MITB match before. Also with my fantasy booking I still don't know who I would want to win but I'm edging towards LA Knight (YEAH), Jey Uso or Logan Paul.

Can we finally have someone hold onto the briefcase for an entire year and be forced to cash-in on the final day before it expires? That's a well that has yet to be tapped and would be a good way to flip the whole concept on its head rather than someone just deciding to cashing in on a random episode of Raw. What about having someone announce their cash-in ahead of time for next year's WrestleMania and actually stick with it? They tried doing it with Mr. Kennedy and Daniel Bryan but it never came to pass. Or how about someone wins the briefcase and then just disappears for 6 months? They've got a guaranteed World Title match at any time they want it, why stick around and compete in meaningless matches on Raw and Smackdown in the interim? Just win the briefcase and take a vacation, then come back when no one is even thinking about you and get a real "surprise" cash-in. Brock and Roman can be absentee champions, why not have an absentee MITB holder actually use it to their advantage?

My should and shouldn't: Men's should: L A Knight (yeah) He's over as hell and he's got the starpower. Men's shouldn't: any of the bloodline They simply don't need it. (As funny as it would be for Roman to pull a Brock, don’t. Please no.) Women's should: Iyo Immediately separates Iyo from Bayley; maybe they feud over the briefcase. Women's shouldn't: Charlotte or Bianca Bianca should turn heel and then go on a Mark henry "Hall of pain" like streak of just straight MURDERING the entire locker room. Charlotte has enough feathers in her cap, so she doesn't need it. She could probably just walk and demand a title shot anyway.
