I'm here to talk about the TaoTronics pair of headphones after more than a year of use: - *Sound.* Not bad at all. Of course not on the level of $200+ but reasonably good! - *ANC.* It's kinda broken (in my case) and is not usable anymore. As you tilt the headphones the way the ANC works changes. If you turn the earcups out it almost cuts off ANC completely. - *Comfort.* This is a very difficult one here. I can still wear them for hours long without any discomfort but the earpads are broken as well. The seam has broken, the cushions look like they were used for ages (bcoz of sweat), they're now not pleasant to eyes and you can feel the internal foam with your ears (not the best feeling I would say). - *Battery.* We all expect modern day batteries to degrade, that's how they work but this headphones don't live for what they used to 6 months ago. I could use them for more than 16 hours in 3 days and would still feel ok the 4th day (at 70%-90% volume) but now they work for 10 - 12 max hours and so it makes you feel like they last nothing after you had almost the double of time a few months ago. But the fast charge is still there. - Also... Micro Usb. (wasn't a big problem for me but might be for you) *So, I would conclude by telling that these pair of headphones are not really worth it. Yes they work excellent for a year but then they just brake in every possible way. You could save that money and gain the same amount the next year to buy a better quality headphones that only for double the price will offer a better overall sound, ANC and will probably serve you well as many as 3 or 4 times more years.*

I picked these Anker Sound Cores up at Walmart on clearance 3 months ago for $25 no lie. There were 2 available and somebody snagged the 2nd pair while I was looking them over, otherwise I would've bought them both! These are my first and only ANC headphones so I'm obviously a bit more satisfied with that aspect of them. But yeah I'm super happy with them. Awesome videos BTW.

You lost me raving about the Anker Soundcore audio quality. RTings, which does extremely thorough audio testing, has the Soundcore as very average sounding. I guess thats the problem with everyone's differing opinions on sound, is you don't actually know how good they will sound until you try them yourself. Some people really prefer bass and that sways their entire opinion on audio quality. However, I have found that rtings does a very accurate test of audio quality and measures all features independently.
@supertrexandroidx4 жыл бұрын
RTings, though, is probably much more critical than the average listener, and they rate almost every headphone pretty low - I mean, low enough that most people probably wouldn't buy any of those headphones if they were depending solely on the ratings there. Their very highest rated audiophile headphones, the best of the best, are rated an average of 8.5, but you'd have to pay over $1500 for those. So I guess what I'm trying to say is that for most of us, when it comes to Rting's ratings, we have to settle on a pair of headphones DESPITE whatever negative things RTing's might have to say about them. ;)
@albiveizi23063 жыл бұрын
Rtings rates headphones according to their frequency response, they don't actually listen to music on those headphones. So it's a bit of a very scientific rating and not neccesarely counter-arguing ratings of other reviewers.

I have the MPOW H12 headphones. After about 3 months or so, the ANC seems to have degraded in quality. When new, there was a noise-cancelling air pressure that masked a mildly noticeable white noise. However, now the air pressure is much less, and the white noise is a louder hiss. It still cancels certain noises, but the hiss sound is kind of annoying, and the ANC makes the sound quality less bassy.

This is a great video! I was wondering which one would best fit my needs (lots to keep track of in this video!) I’m a female, so I don’t have a massive head. I work from home and this month, I’m moving to a new construction neighborhood. Listening to the garbage truck right now is horrible enough, I don’t know how I will be able to handle construction for a year. So most important: noise cancelling, comfort (will be wearing 8 hours a day), and able to take calls (conference calls). Less important, style, case included, battery life, and I guess sound quality (though the higher quality the better of course). Can you recommend which option would fit my needs the most? Thanks!

Now I want to get the missus an ANC headset for Xmas. I could get her her own H12's but there's a tiny problem in that she finds them slightly too big for her small head. She says the ear pieces sit too low over her ears. So of the five sets you reviewed, which would be the best fit for her? Many thanks.

Hey, I just laid them all out and the MPOW H12s are actually one of the biggest of the bunch. The Mixcder E9s are the smallest in this video. So if the H12s were considered a large size, I'd say the E9s are a medium size by comparison. I just posted a new video about the Tribit Quiet Plus and they are *even smaller* than the E9s if you're worried about the E9s still being too big. Hope that helps buddy!
