Can't speak for a Rukka style which in my personal opinion is designed to look like a bin bag, add lack of pockets on top and you have a useless item that cost a fortune. Dainese is absolute rubbish, bought one and got wet next day, replaced that with another one...got soaked again fiew days later and took it back to the shop...absolute rubbish ! Rev'it Poseidon? Thank you for restoring my faith in Goretex equipement 🤘🏻 Absolutely love it! Keep you dry, cool design & practical, with all pockets you may ever need. Laminate Goretex is the way forward 🤘🏻

Got the Poseidon 2 jacket , best jacket I’ve had in 50 years of motorcycling, I like the fact that when it rains the jacket doesn’t get heavy like many jackets . Got the chest armour fitted aswell 😊🤓👍

I am 1,80cm an 85kg fitness freak, i bought the Poseidon 2 GTX and love it, its not very long and very durable, i ride whole year, now after 6 months its time to maintain it due guarantee...i can recommend.

Good review. But the problem is that the brands reviewed don't offer larger sizes. Like for folks with 50+ inch chests or 48+ inch waists. Request for a better balance. Include brands like Klim, First Gear etc.

Including the carve master was a mistake. It's NOT a waterproof jacket, it's a jacket with a waterproof lining. Once the outer jacket gets wet, which it does, the breathability is ZERO.

I must admit. I'v been using tikka for decades. Until I had a fool pull out on me while wearing my two day old ruikka armas. Even though it had a five year guarantee. They said sorry there's nothing can be done. So I'm sticking with alpinestars 🤘

I had a very low speed tumble in my Rukka suit, the stretch cordura split on the shoulder and above the knee. Rukka it interested- quite surprised that they thought a split was ok- it wasn’t abraded through by contact with the road surface rather split when it stretched too much as some of the suit was grabbed by the road surface. I look elsewhere now for protection too

Is there short and tight sport touring jacket with a thermal and a waterproof liner you would recommend. Really dont like long jackets but I ride from early spring untill the frost hits usually in november - is the Rukka the best bet? thanks 😊🤗

Do you mean a removable waterproof liner? Or a laminated jacket? I can't think of any Rukka jackets with a removable waterproof liner, but there are a couple of Rev'it! jackets that fit this description. The Rukka is the best bet if you're willing (and able) to spend the cash, it will last you longest when treated properly.

Why do the brands make waterproof gore-tex jackets and then they are full of non waterproof zippers??? I have the Dainese Cyclone gore-tex, it was the most expensive jacket i bought and yet it is the worst.

I had a badlands pro jacket it leaked from vent zippers After a argument with gore tex I got some money back but wasted loads on it really not that good being advertised as waterproof and zippers are only water resistant I was lucky to get my money back because zippers are not under gore-tex warranty mine was only a week old when I had problems so be warned if you thinking of getting one

@@MrBigdog6931 I've had mine two years. It has a five-year money-back guarantee, or repair, including repair or replacement if you come off your bike and the jacket gets damaged. Don't know why you got into a stoush will Gore-tex, the guarantee is by Klim.

@@goldenchild4835 I contacted Klim and they said that it was gore-tex problem and would not help me its a design issue water resistant zippers on vents is ridiculous it was brand new only a week old when I got soaked they know it is a problem I had to fight with gore-tex also they don't warranty zippers but because it was brand new they couldn't really get out of it It cost me loads in shipping to have it tested ludicrous being it was brand new If you are not wanting a waterproof jacket maybe you will be ok but not good enough for me

Thanks for your kind comment. We prefer to call it 'hard rock', though. Sometimes we use some music to colour in the close up shots. It might not always be down your alley, but it's better than a lot of the pish-tosh you'll hear on the wireless.
