I think this speaks volumes. Notice its not what we DO that we regret but what we DIDN'T do. A friend died a few years ago and he told me just before he passed his biggest regret was not going for a walk barefoot on the beach with a friend. He just never did it. Too busy. By the time he told me that, it was already too late.

That's just a bad way of looking at it, the man that just got his legs chopped off will always have regrets about something he can't do anymore, but the warrior that's in every one of us realizes that if you lose one weapon you find another..... The proper reaction is to know that when one door closes two open , maybe three.... There are people in this world that you could give $1000000 to and all they would do is complain how heavy it was.

This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my KZbin channel 3 months ago about self development. Now I have 198 subs and almost 90 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I couldn’t have learned without getting started in the 1st place.

I've studied in Europe, driven cross country, lived in various states, and have kept in touch with childhood friends. I had a great career, but my entire division got laid off. Education pays a lot less, but the shorter summer school hours make it possible to have three day weekends with friends. Money doesn't buy happiness, but it gives you peace of mind and allows you to have what is necessary for a safe, healthy existence.

I've heard a whisper that the company I work for are going to lay off a large percentage of our workforce in the near future in 1½ to 2 years time. I've only been there 12 years and although the thought of losing their job to some people is terrifying, I personally can't wait to finish. I'll be 51 years old then and I ain't going to find another job after I leave. I'll consider part time work if I find it, but I really don't give a shit about working anymore. Money sucks and I'm looking forward to an early retirement. You tend to think differently when you get older, I would have done it years ago if I didn't have a family to support.

I regret going to school & college. I regret not standing up to my teachers and telling them all to f&^k off. I regret not dropping out and running away from school. In a society where money is more important than human character, and you struggle day after day to feel adequate, death seems like a better way out.

#1 0:02 not everyone has an opportunity to get an education because they are to busy trying to put food on the table or may not have the ability or opportunity to learn at higher education institutions to do what they really want, most people are to busy trying to make ends meet to do what they really want. #2 0:37 It's hard to get a long with family and people in general. #3 1:00 It hard to express true feelings because it makes you vulnerable. #4 1:19 People change, and they're paths in life change. #5 1:35 This day and age people are pushed so hard to be productive and constrictive that it's hard to find time for vacations. For some they don't have time or if they have time they don't have money, that's the problem.

Don’t ask how I know (lol), but not expressing feelings of love is most often not something to regret. If you didn’t do it because you were a shy teenager, you eventually found someone else. If you didn’t express those feelings as an adult, it was probably because it was the smart thing to do! Those feelings were for a coworker, a friend or family member’s partner, or you were already in a relationship. Expressing those feelings is the thing to regret, not holding them back. Or so I’ve been told.

Yeah, I agree with this list, it's good but, traveling? Vacation? That takes A LOT of money, even cheap vacations take money, don't fool yourself. But I'm talking about going to other states, countries, etc. - the usual way we define vacations. Unless you're extremely frugal. However, taking a short day trip to another town you've never been to can be a lot of fun and it's more practical, not to mention takes way less money.

Last I checked enslavement was being forced to do a job for little or no pay. Remember, you have the opportunity to choose not to get a job and leech off the welfare system whenever you like, so there's no enslavement to it. If you want to live off welfare like communism wants you to do (better ask Russia, China, Zimbabwe, Cuba, the Visegrad 4 and a host of other countries how that went by the way) then, in a capitalist society, you are free to do so.

Most idiots are so caught up in wasting there money on what they call "Nice Things" (whatever the fk that is), that they are left without money to enjoy life. The only comment in this string that has the fucking needle on point! The short term possessions are something people obsess over way too much. When the end comes you're not going to care about your car, phone, Playstation, computer, house, or whatever material it is. What you will care about are the experiences you had. The ones which will always stick with you till your last breath. Don't get caught up with material shit. It's stays put when you die.

With all the changes in this world this list seems simple...but the way things are going it would be interesting to see if this list would change..social media allows for contact of old friends but the world has become more isolated... so will ppl wish they spent more time with family when they didn't have a family of their own? Do they have true feelings to express when they spent much of their lives trying to get over on ppl than really getting to know and love them? Will they travel to places they dream about? Or be so broke they only do it virtually; never actually setting foot on those shores...

"And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." (REVELATION 20:12-15 NKJV) Today, while you are still alive and able, may you repent from your sins, believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that JESUS CHRIST is your Lord and Savior, so that through Him, your name will be written in the Book of Life. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever BELIEVES in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." (JOHN 3:16-17 NKJV) ✝️ By God's GRACE, the gift of Salvation and Eternal Life is available to all. You can RECEIVE it. You can REJECT it. May you choose wisely...

My biggest regret. Giving my kids too much shit at the bequest of my wife just so they could keep up with the Jones’s. I could have quit working years ago if I had not spent all that money on them.
