Hey Tony, Can you help me? At school, I always get bullied at class. One of my classmate is a bully and I didn't know he is a bully and he spit at me after looking at him many times. I'm scared to throw some strike because they think I'm the one who bully them. Can you teach me a self Defense against school bully? Edit: He almost show his fist and point at my face and which mean he want to punch me in the face

It is funny, that most of this list can be applied to most of the life. Im a profesional musician, and learning how important are the "little things", how to breathe with the melody, how to deal with stress of performing in front of a crowd, how to listen to the crowd and adapt my music on the go took me a lot of the time. Even learning how to fuel your body makes a difference because when you are performing you'd rather be focused on the instrument, and not on the fact that your stomach doesnt feel quite right.

I've heard of that. I'm sorry, I need to ask the question. Is it a real combat system/sport or is it a historical reconstruction? The HEMA people do not care about what actually works. They only care about historical texts.

Another great and very informative video Tony. I’ve been pushing to other Coaches and parents for their kids to eat bacon in their meal before a fight for years. Also for them to increase their sleep which is very critical in an athlete’s performance. Thanks again Tony. ✝️🇺🇸🥊Coach Mando from the Alamo City.

Thank you very much Tony! I'm surprised about #5 breathing. I'm glad to hear you include that in your training. In martial arts, it's 1 of, if not the 1st thing that is taught. As important as it is for striking, I would have thought that it would be up there in boxing.

Bacon???? My Grandad was a boxer from Yorkshire and was on that “English Health Food” diet too. Too bad he died the year before I was born from a massive heart attack. The only bacon I eat now is made from turkey; all the taste 90% less fat. Still killing it at 66 😎🇨🇦🥊

Bacon is a super food I've been saying this for a while (been on zero carb/fibre for medical), it contains a whole load of nutrition and minimum negatives.. aslong as it's good quality.. and you shouldn't overcook it either unfortunately (avoid crispy bacon for most health benefits 😞)

@user-op2qh2xe5y animals are food, they always have been and always will be. Atleast I actually eat the animals that are killed for my food, you eat the crappy vegetables that the animals get killed to preserve, it's an absolute waste of life and lack of nutrition

I've been doing boxing 4 months now and I had to move and get a fast food job. They actually pay over miminum wage so it's nice, and I get free meals. But I've been eating burgers 4 times a week to save money, idk how to feel about it. On workdays I usually drink protein shakes because I don't get enough from my 1 meal at my work that packs over 2000 calories. I eat really good on my days off when I have boxing but should I start bringing in my own meals? It'll be way pricier but I'm still keeping my macros and calories about the same on days off and work days

Top athletes like Garry Tonon and Holly Holm age fast foot burgers before their day of competition or fights. Michael Phelps famously ate a ton of everything including pancakes and chips or anything to reach 10000 calories per day. Bodybuilders get into trouble eating "clean". You need carbs for a workout and a burger is loaded with a nice blend of carbs, protein, and fat.

I noticed I was a bit better at jabs straight uppercuts. My hooks are meh. I love the teacher I met I was good at jump roping was in the gym teaching him some tricks the guy I met is from Japan been boxing 20 years he is soo fast endless knowledge. I notice when we spar I back up too much almost afraid sometimes of being hit even though being hit doesn't really bother me it's more of a natural reaction. even with blocking and weaving and dodges. If he wanted to get really aggressive I would be done for or pinned in an actual fight and just smacked to hell.
