There is one good reason to visor with aimbot, technically. Since you reload much faster in visor, it lets you shoot more consistently and hose down the tank through healing. However…I feel like the bronze players didn’t take that into account when using visor.

The workshop aimbot doesn’t aim for heads, no. The way it works is that each character model has a local position 0,0,0 basically at their feet. The workshop forces the aim of the player to go to aim at a specific local position on the enemy player’s model. The only way you can get the workshop’s aimbot to aim at the head of ALL characters, is if you set the specific position of their head in the aimbot’s code. It’s a bit too complicated though, so generally it’s just set to a number that will guaranteed hit all characters and headshot only some.

Even though the Soldier ult wasn't going to do anything (other than reduce his damage - no headshots), there's still the psychological component of it for the other team. You hear that voiceline, and after playing the game for however many years you have been, you're kind of conditioned to hide until it's over.

Of what I understand the aimbot aims at their sight and not at their head. Hence when soldier runs or some heros crouches it misses. (Soldiers FOV changes when he runs so not the sight and some heros like Reinhardt has their sight lower down than their head when crouching.) Remember that I may be wrong, it could also be something about hardpoints.

if i remember correctly, in the past there was a cheat made by abusing workshop mode. it made OW dev took down Experimental and custom games options for a while to fix it. so it is possible to make this kind of lobby in custom game. CMIIW

Ball is actually a great choice though. Fast respawns, high long range accuracy/damage, quick escapes, sombras aren't too threatening when you always know where they are ans can kill them reliably with 1/10th of a clip any time they get close enough to hack. And he went hog just to have a 100% accurate hook but didn't find a lot of windows since he kept latching it into the tank. Bronze for a reason, but the thought process isn't too bad. The "this beats this" dynamic kinda shifts once aimbot/wallhacks enters the equation.
