YALLL SHES NOT LYING ONE BIT I have been on 20:4 and 18:6 fasts for almost 3 months. I went from 234 to 194. I’m also 19 years also, and it’s incredible. Some personal tips: - I’m a vegetarian by doctor’s orders. Meaning I eat absolutely NO meat (beef, chicken, pork, shellfish, etc.) because I was dealing with high cholesterol at the time. Now it’s just a lifestyle lol. - I walk 10,000 a day because I don’t have a car. And I’m a college student, so I just walk everywhere. I got used to it as well, but for beginners PLEASE don’t overwork yourself. Start walking 30 minutes a day and work up from there. - Journaling my emotions. Due to past trauma and verbal abuse by family, I would binge eat to make myself happy and distracted. Fasting really does humble you because once you don’t eat as much, you’re bored. So I journaled, read books, did homework, exercised, and basically kept busy so that when my eating window comes it’ll breeze by. - Slightly personal reason, but follow God. I wanna do the Daniel Fast in March, and I’ve recently attended my first Episcopal church service. It was fantastic and I felt God’s presence more than ever. I also pray on the daily, talk to God in private, and attend Bible study. Having a religious or spiritual foundation really helps mentally. Philippians 4:13 is in my mind 24/7 🙏🏾💗 - WATER WATER WATER WATER. I haven’t excessively drank juice or soda in so long and it benefits me greatly. Only things I drink is water, sparkling water, or smoothies. Smoothies can be good with non-inflammatory fruits that can be eaten by itself. And that’s the stuff I did! This is a wonderful video to those who want to lose weight. Nicely done, Halley!

Just finished a 42 hour power fast! I do this once a month. Then IF 3 weeks out of the month. Read Fast Like A Girl. It changed my body.

Chlorophyll ! Everyday alll day! I promise you your gut will be healed. I always had issues with my gut none stop gas and bloating to the point where I didn’t want to go anywhere because of the gas ! I hated myself started losing weight because I didn’t want to eat but ever since I started drinking that green water baby ! I have regular bowl movements and no gas! I’m a different person

Omg the voice change between your intro clip and that first throwback clip shook me! It’s wild how many small things change when you loose weight and heal yourself. Once I took out a majority of inflammatory foods/drink I noticed I had waaay less dandruff (almost none now tbh) bc my scalp wasn’t unbalanced from all that excess sugar

Girl you’re GOALS GOALS GOALS!!! Last year I gained a TON of weight because of depression, I had 196lbs (I’m only 5feet tall) and that caused my hormones to get messed up, I wasn’t even getting my period for 4 months 😭 in this 4 months I’ve lost around 12lbs (still a long way to go, but my hormones and insulin resistance didn’t allow me to drop faster). Anyways, I’m loving these videos and they’re helping me (I finally got my period back 🎉). Your weight influences all of your hormones that make you functional so let’s take care of ourselves! ♥️🥰

Making my plates look beautiful and taking a picture of them has been a small thing that’s helped me stay on track much better as well. Definitely agree with getting the proper amount of rest daily is something I’m prioritizing on the regular.

I absolutely love this!! I’ve been STRUGGLING with IBS and anxiety as well as depression/ptsd by proxy because I’ve been relentlessly bullied for my IBS. It’s so hard and I want to give up all the time but I’m so committed to trying, solely for me and me alone. To finally be comfortable in my body is the goal. A couple things that has reduced my symptoms are taking digestive enzymes and peppermint oil capsules before meals. That has eliminated my bloating after meals. 💕

I had went thru this traumatic experience a little while back I gave birth to my first child and with the hospital became a lawsuit with the physicians malpractice it was horrible and they decide to get cps involved and removed my child from me in the hospital I gained so much from that experience I would eat my feelings away and stress every day still fighting the case and the stress is reduced due to me healing and giving myself hope because I had to take a positive turn on my life give praise to the most high 🙌🙏❤️ your videos helped me thank you

I love this video so much. Growing up i got made fun of for eating slow at school, but when i got home i had to eat real fast bc my dad n brother would come in and just eat all the food that was for me. So now just hearing like take the time to eat and thinking it’s okay it they eat. My body will get what it needs and will tell me when im satisfyingly full 🫶🏼💛 seeing a dietician also helped me be okay with eating portioned healthy carbs. Girl you are a blessing. I’ve been dealing with stomach issues since..2016-17 and the last 3 years it’s been extremely chronic. I’ve had anxiety since I was 10, and now at 28 it’s given me ibs. And you’re 100% right- if you have a happy & healthy mind, your stomach will follow. My biggest issue is dealing with stress… thank you for this video, truly was a sign ❤

I'm not on a weight loss journey, but I do have IBS and deal with anxiety which affects my gut. Right on time! I’m prioritizing my gut health this year. I’ve struggled for so long. Last month I went to the ER for severe cramps that was caused by colitis. Not the best experience. I’m doing a parasite cleanse now just because as a last resort and to detox. I’m changing my lifestyle though but it’s been challenging. I struggle with IF because of my work schedule but I’ll try it out. And I want to start walking. This video was great! Thank you! 🙌🏽❤️

First my english is not very well but I hope you can understand it. As an aquarius woman I am very stubborn and I don’t like people telling me what to do because for me it was not safe believing in everything I have heard and seen. Often I like to explore and find out things by myself. I am a mother of three and I love my kids to death. Eating more intentionally is something I want to improve on. Sometimes I feel rushed and I don't enjoy my meals and end up with an upset stomach. When I slow down and mindfully prepare my food and eat it's a much more enjoyable process. You look gorgeous in red Hailey! ♥

I found your channel January 7th and started my 20:4 fasting. I've lost 9 lbs since and am finally feeling sexy again in my own skin. All my inflammation has gone down and I have so much energy. The first two days I was sooo hungry waiting to eat during my window but by the third day I was not even hungry anymore. And felt fully satisfied with the meals I made myself. I realized I would just grab and make food because "it's breakfast time" or "it's lunch time" etc... when my body really was not even hungry. Thank you for sharing your journey and wisdom! I am feeling amazing.

I had to quit my job because it was causing so much stress. It’s been 1 month now and i’m dropping weight. My issue was I wasn’t eating healthy. I was barely consuming enough calories to feel alive. My body was in survival mode relying on starbucks sugar hits to push me through the day… I struggled with having an appetite and didn’t work out much. I started doing the low to medium impact workouts and drinking more water and my body started getting hungry and from that point I gave it healthy foods and started consuming 1700-2000 calories daily which before I was living off of 500-700 calories of garbage.. and that combination along with deleting social media like instagram and tiktok has helped me drop the weight, and keep it off so far. I always use to wonder why am i even gaining weight i’m barely eating and the reality is you can also gain weight from not eating… I really have enjoyed your channel thank you for the videos they help a lot!

The comment about feeling like you’re going down a roller coaster every day is something I’ve felt for so long but never heard anyone else say. Cutting out coffee was the hardest but best thing I’ve done for that, I haven’t felt it since!

I never really stuck with intermittent fast because weight has never been an issue for me I’m 5’8” and most of my weight is carried on my lower body. It wasn’t until I saw a video of myself where I didn’t look as tall. Nothing wrong with not being tall but I am tall so it was trippy. I noticed my upper body also started carrying more weight I had a hunch and double chin. Rn I have been eating the same meals and actually only eating a serving size of whatever snack I’m having and no longer finishing a full jar of ice cream. I also notice the foods that cause me to go down a loophole of more unhealthy snacks. One thing that definitely has helped is being more accountable which is very hard. Thanks for sharing your journey with us !

I love your videos and your whole vibe! You are so motivating. I’m going to sound really annoying, but I’m hoping this is taken as constructive feedback and not as a critique to you. I keep hearing you say “uncomfortability” when I think you mean “discomfort”. I’ve heard people in my day to day use a variation of “comfortability” or “uncomfortability” and I find myself really distracted because I just want to be like, “you mean, ‘comfort’, comfortable’, ‘discomfort’, and ‘uncomfortable’,”. “Comfortability” is not a real word. Regardless, I’m so excited to keep up with your awesome content! And thank you for putting yourself and your experiences out there to help people like me!

I currently do 95% of these exact things to do she is suggesting. Very nice. I just MUST incorporate WHOLE FOODS by going to my local WHOLE FOODS STORE. I have to adjust my shopping time to do so. My local Ralph’s market opens at 5am. My local WHOLE FOODS market opens at 7am. I get up at 4:15am daily, meditate, light exercise, dress & out the house by 6am. Majority of the time, I go to the store between 6am & 6:30am. I start working at 7am. So an adjustment will definitely be encouraged by me. I agree with Ms. Hailey ~ it’s thee best way to go 🎉❤😂
