Say Shane, you should truly give some praise to whoever does the camera work and video editing. The quality of these videos (Not content, which has always been pretty darn good but rather the technical quality) has increased dramatically these last few months. It was never terrible, but it has truly reached a professional level. The way the the scenes are framed and shot, and the editing is done at a very high level. Watching this from a 10bit Pro Art panel really shows high level of quality. The color work in particular is quite superb, which also alludes to fact you guys/gals have gone the extra step in sussing out the set lighting as well. All in all, even after KZbin's appalling compression has had it's way with with the video; the end product you deliver for us is of very high quality indeed. The vast majority of visitors to KZbin don't really comprehend (or think about, or even care for that matter) how mind-numbingly tedious and time consuming (Not too mention how obscenely expensive) it is to produce any content, let alone at such a high quality. So more often than not it is taken for granted. That being said, I myself do very much appreciate it, and thought I'd point some praise at you & your team. So again, Thank you very much.

Ok! So about the jittery movement thing! I understand that completely! In my debut Underground fight (on my channel) I got to anxious and thought about my movement to much and ended up like shuffling my feet toward my opponent, which was a horrible and a stupid idea! But anyway I think that had something to do more with how nervous I was so I always try to work on the foot works now to make sure I don't make the same mistakes 2x

block his first hook, and punch him at the *same time* with your non defending arm. if you are a hard hitter, this will stop his combination. if hes bigger and stronger than you, then there isnt really a good way to fight him.

Hey Shane I have a question. First off I love your videos they have gotten me better since I've started watching and im having fun practicing. My question is that you talk about being in balance when throwing the jab and cross. I have seen footage of manny Pacquiao and he completely over extends his punches sometimes. Is this because he is confident the punch is going to land and that he is well experienced? Is there a time where we should over extend if we think the punch will land? thank you and respect for the channel love your videos 👍
@richardsagrit7153
@richardsagrit7153 2 жыл бұрын
As far as I’ve seen from watching and learning is that practice and drills are to get muscle memory and good habits. But once you’re in a ring and the bell dings for a real fight, all bets are off. Hopefully the techniques will be there when they need to but it’s a fight and obviously when you start going at someone a lot of that technique can fly out the window. Max Holloway is one of the best boxers in the UFC, but because of his experience, from a technical aspect his hands are always low and he eats too many shots but from his experience he’s found it works for him still. So if pacquiao throws a few off balance or wild shots, his training and habits will still hopefully get him right back into a tight guard and good defence even though he went wild for a sec.

1. Slight bend knees, more rhythm, stance not too wide or narrow 2. Keep pressure on balls of feel, don't have to be off heels 3. Don't cross legs, Lead leg moves first, not walking b/c hips are square and open for attack, blatted=hips turned less surface area to get hit 4. Keep hands and feet in sync. Both feet on ground when punch lands, step 6in with left need 6 in with right to get back into stance 5. Don't just move forward and back, move 360 degrees, right and left, don't move into opponents power hand move into jab hand.

Dylan Resto set a timer to 3 min and see how many times you can bench 45lbs in that time frame. rest 1 min repeat 3 times,trying to beat that number each round. builds punch speed and endurance. next skip the rope 3 minute rounds,counting each jump and trying to best it each round,repeat 3 rounds.1 min rest between rounds. then 3 rounds on the speedball.3 min rounds.

dejan raznatovic 3-10 miles is what most pros run. you are training for boxing not running so time is not a major issue. also mix in sprints and shadowboxing with your roadwork to replicate the broken pace that is boxing. every 3 minutes of running mix in either 15 secs of shadowbox or sprint.
