What is funny is that most of the Engine swaps are at least partially inspired by real life cars or projects, to varying degrees. Installing Porsche engines were relatively common in old air-cooled VWs, the 4 rotor Mazda 3 comes straight from Mad Mike, the RX-7 Cappucino was something done by RE Amemiya, The Lancia Delta is inspired by the Group B Lancia Delta, a ton of LS and 2JZ engine swaps, etc.
