The reason skin improves is that eggs help your body produce glutithione which is very good for your skin. I started taking glutithione with milk thistle as a supplement along with vitamin C. It has almost the same effects as the egg fast. Mental, and energy boost along with much improvement in skin. So interesting!

After trying both the 3 day egg fast and the 5 day egg fast 4 weeks apart I personally think I’d stick with just 3 days! 5 days was a little more challenging to stick with for me and only had a 1lb difference between the two last days. With the 3 days I lose 9.8lbs and at 5 days 10.4lbs. I vlogged mine too! Thanks for sharing! 💓🤗

At my highest weight I was 315 pounds. I started 2019 at 280 pounds. I wanted to hit 199 pounds by my daughter’s wedding next weekend. I’m currently at 203. I’m going to do an egg fast starting tomorrow! 8 days til the wedding- can I hit 199?!?!!

I have been 95% carnivore for going on 5 years. Earlier was under 20 grams carbs a day. I LOVE the energy. I lost 100 pounds over all. I started about 240 at my heaviest. Now go between 135 to 140. Never tried the egg fast. Not sure now if it would make any difference. Meals are a breeze. Shopping once every 6 weeks or so is super fast. Meat eggs butter cheese a few spices. Tonight I made a large pan of chicken enchiladas that will last me 6 meals. My big cheat is a whole can of olives in the batch and a whole can of the chopped green chili peppers and spices. I made my own sauce no flour. It was amazing. My health is amazing blood work amazing. I was considered pre-diabetic, Morbidly obese and metabolic scale was 7.?? I forget now exactly. HDL below 30 now 129. Triglycerides were off the charts well over 400. Now 71. So now Metabolic scale is down to just under 4 . Doctor is totally shocked watching me do this and lose the weight no surgery no counseling. I just did it. The high energy and good health keeps me wanting to eat this way forever. No longer a diet it is a way of life. Keep going you are doing great and look amazing. I did have a few weight loss stalls but my body shape continued to shift around. I started this at 65 years old. So wish I had done it sooner. I have a lot of sagging skin. Oh well at 70 and now alone I do not much care. Life is great.

@@BellaRosa55 Not at all. a 7 week stall is not that long even though we feel it is at the time . A three or four month stall is a stall and things need to be looked into. A couple times I cheated. A cheat to me is adding olives and chopped green chilies to my carnivore enchiladas. Eating a Calrs Jr lettuce wrapped burger with tomato and onion. A dill pickle. My stupid system is so sensitive it is all it takes to throw me into a stall or add on a couple pounds. Most have not screwed their bodies up eating way over the top too many carbs like I have done. I kind of semi IF in that I eat my dinner between 6 and 7 PM and I usually do not eat again until 11 or 12 the next day. EXCEPT for a bowl of sugar free gelatin and a small handful of pumpkin seeds. YES another cheat. I also use almond milk not carnivore. I am ok. I keep my carbs usually well under 10 a day and I maintain. So just keep on doing as you are doing and trust the process and maybe measure yourself instead of weigh. Often my weight did not go down but my pants were falling off me. Losing inches not pounds. It is so interesting to see how much my body changed during all of this. I never had thin legs before and now I really do. My hips are much smaller than they ever were too. but then I am 71 so I imagine lack of horror-mones are also a part of this.

I did this and lost a solid 10 lbs. I found that I now prefer my eggs "over medium" since I stopped using toasted bread. Sometimes I would put an ounce of grated parmesan cheese on the bottom for variety. 👴🏻👍🏻

I break fast around 1pm when I eat a 2 egg 8" frittata w/veggies, onion, garlic, meats, cheeses & tomato and a cup of spinach every day. Mid day snack is half an avocado w/meat/peppers, garlic, ginger. Tea or bone broth to sip. Evening meal of salmon cakes or grass fed burgers, w/the other half of avocado & some artichoke heart blades, olives or peppers. I'm blessed.

I found your channel when I recently started doing keto.. 2 of my 3 meals are just eggs.. I’m a bartender so I get home from work around 3am and don’t usually go to bed till 5am. I usually sleep all day till it’s time to get in the shower and get ready for work. I did the same for a week, but whenever I fancied something sweet or got super fed up of eggs I would sprinkle a little sweetener over them and it almost tasted like a pancake 😄 I went from 179lbs down to 168lbs in a week.

I’ve done several egg fasts, both 3 day and 5 day, I feel so good on them. My body also loves no carbs. Everyone make sure you drink enough water and use salt while you are doing this! I used homemade keto mayo for some meals instead of the butter and made deviled eggs or just a simple egg salad with hard boiled eggs and took with me for meals to eat while at work. I’m a little strange in that I seem to be able to eat the same thing every day for many days. I also have done beef/butter fasts with good results. I’m a runny egg fan! Thanks for this great instructional video.

I did the three day egg fast last week too. I lost six lbs- so worth it bc I lose soooo slow. I made an egg loaf, pimento cheese, deviled eggs, some chaffles and egg and cream cheese pancakes, and of course some scrambled eggs with cheese. It helped to keep the eggs reinvented. And while I did the 3 day, I did a transition day on days 4 and 5. I would definitely do it again!

Definitely agree. I did keto egg diet also because when i started keto last year of august starting weight 160lbs to 120lbs. Im having hard time reaching my ideal weight for my height. When i did keto egg diet for 5 days. I first check my tdee and bmr so i wont experienced calorie defecit and base to my calculation i have to consume 1200 calories/ day doing the keto egg diet, and it works. I did reached my ideal weight i lost 10lbs in 5 days. 😄😄😄

I did a 30 days challenge with eggs, beef, cheese and butter. I lost 15 lbs. I was the same as you as far as not feeling hungry. I don't have small children and could eat when I wanted to. By all means try the beef & egg challenge. I am thinking about doing it again. I had sauteed beef with egg for breakfast topped with cheese. It was awesome. Good luck!

On egg fast right now. This is just my second day but I've already lost 3 lbs. I was at a plateau after losing 40 lbs and this is actually working. I should have waited to weigh myself until the end of my 5th day but I just couldn't. Lol. I woke up literally feeling lighter today. I plan on finishing 5 days and see how it goes. I just want people to be aware and safe doing an egg fast was how I realized I had gallstone all that cholesterols caused my gallstone attack to flare up supper painful . Well now I can’t eat more than 2 eggs a week

Gallstones are caused because you don't have enough bile to (wash/break down) the cholesterol (fats). You need bile salts. Try drinking acc before and after eating. It helps provide more acid to break down food, and fat, as well as the release of bile. It's not really about the cholesterol. I encourage people to learn the ins and outs of how the body works instead of going by what others say. Everyone has a body and should know in detail how it works

Every body metabolism is different and not everyone’s weight loss will be the same number. You also have to work out at least 30 min daily to help out.

I didn’t work out and I lost 9.5 pounds in 5 days doing the egg diet. I think working out is great but it’s not necessary especially if you can’t. You’ll still lose the weight on this diet but amazingly don’t skimp on the 1 Tablespoon avocado oil or coconut oil per egg

Hey Jess, I’m going to do another 5 day again starting Monday. There is a quiche recipe from Keto Connect that I may try to work up to fit this so I’m not just eating plain eggs all the time. So between scrambled, egg salad and quiche, I can keep it interesting for the 5 day stretch. For Sunday, I’m staying carnivore.

I changed it up for my egg fast by making a salad adding spinach for lunch 2 chopped hard cooked eggs 2 cherry tomatoes mayo and cider vinegar... Very refreshing... Boiling the eggs allowed me to add mayo ..... I went very deep into ketosis... Oh yes and ate 10 eggs per day because I was walking a lot and hungry ! Lost a bunch of weight and broke through a plateau !

Eggs still have carbs.... typically .6 carbs per egg. Cheese also has carbs. Almost everything has carbs except clean meats, butter, water, pork rinds, etc. So those 4 eggs were about 2.4 carbs and the cheese was likely about 1 carb as well. But still very clean and low carb.

So the carbs on a pie chart of macros would be a tiny sliver lol. Keto extreme! Probably something like 75-85 % fats, 24.5-14.5 % protein and 0.5 % carbs lol.

I did the butter on my hard boiled eggs fry them and scrambled them 4 days and loss nothing doing 5 days I can't see me losing 5 lbs in one day

Wow I'll have to try this one. I did a different one where you do B. 3 boiled eggs L. 3 boiled eggs 1 apple S. 1 apple D. 1/2 cup oatmeal No Fat I was exhausted and very hungry! And I couldn't stomach the eggs🤪

I ate 2 eggs and 4 ounces of outmeal with just enough real butter to cove the tip of a butter knife for 3 times a day for 90 days. I went from 305 to 255. First few days were tough but no problem after that. I only ate poached or boiled eggs. No fried eggs. Going to do it again.

Scrambled eggs all the way😀. I've been sauteing cauliflower and broccoli then adding my 2 scrambled eggs with a couple tablespoons of salsa at the very end. Might not sound too good on paper but I love eating this.

@@asmeretzemariam3292 I did it for a month Start with eating a 3 eggs, 3 times a day or eat till your full...It is easy....I also did the steak and egg diet same way but add a hamburg patti to eacc meal..You should lose atleat 20lbs in 14 days.. I like it because the diet is high protein and your energy will come from fat and not carbs.. your body will go into ketosis

Love my eggs over easy with runny yolks. Fry them in butter or olive oil or bacon grease. Do intermittent fasting either 16/8 or 18/6 or 20/4.

I started my 3 day fast today, but then later in the day I also started my monthly cycle. I don’t plan to stop fasting though I just hope the natural monthly cycle bloating and water gain doesn’t interfere with my possible weight loss results...... We shall see!!!!

I like boiled eggs.I do a dozen at a time. Peel them and use as needed.Just smash a few, add butter, heat in microwave. I've done egg fasts a couple times and lost 5 lbs each time. I bet I could do it for a month and I don't even like eggs that much. It's just that it's so easy. I check local stores for half price sales of organic eggs. I finished an egg fast today and had a salad. My go to salad is Wendy's Southwestern Avocado. I can make 2 meals out of it and it is keto friendly. I add cucumber and a little onion. It has bacon , avocado, a grilled chicken breast. Delish. I enjoyed your video. You should try a beef and butter fast. Dr Boz said the beef releases cholecystokinin, a peptide that digests fat. She has a video on it.Cheers!

I know this post is 7 months ago but ... something sweet.. make a chaffel with cinnamon and Leto friendly sweetener. ALSO, eat just 2 meals a day AND use Pink Himalayan salt. I eat around 11:30~ and then again around 5pm. I'm up by 6:30am and bed about 11pm. Best not to eat 3 hours before bed. I also made hard boiled eggs...just think of different ways and use your no salt spices.

I’m a dry egg gal with the occasional exceptions. Sometimes I like to put a light fried egg on top of some scrambled eggs because there’s no way I can eat any runny egg without something else to wipe it up if that makes sense. Great video thx for the info!

Ok, so I tried "the egg diet" for a week and lost almost 2 kgs as well as my appetite 😑 today I resumed back to my regular diet but don't feel like eating at all..

Neato! The energy/focus also happens when I extended fast for 3 days... You get a whole lot done when you don't need to eat or make food. Lol. And nice frying pan! I have the same one =)
