Hey guys!! Just to confirm I definitely do not mean to only deep condition your hair once a month. I meant that it’s okay to make/apply an intense treatment once a month 😪

I’ve been watching you for years, and I must say there is something so different about this video. Your knowledge, experience is very visible in this video. Your confidence towards your craft is apparent too. In short, I can tell you have evolved, so I thank you for sharing your continuous progress. Sincerely, your long term subscriber Shal Perk

Hey Shawnta, I’m so happy to have found you again. I don’t know why my notifications are not coming through. Your hair has gotten even longer than the last time I saw your lock and ACV method about 1 year to 2 years ago. Wow 🤩 My hair has grown using your methods as well, but the shrinkage is REAL for me 😂 I enjoyed this video .... Happy to be back ❤️ I’m doing an ACV and this moisture method while catching up on your vids now 🥰 XOXO 💋

You are so right! There are some days that I forget to moisturize my hair upto 3 days,while other weeks I'm consistent. Natural hair maintainability is a lot of work.

Omg your LOC method is what I found works best for me. I thought the gel after the leave in was all I needed. I need and have to deal with an oil at the end - while my hair is still drying. Oil I use is olive oil as the sealant. Not much of a cast after - not so much that I feel I have to quickly break the cast

Yes, I would love to see your detailed LCO method. Thanks for this video. I'm at a standstill and my hair seem to have just stop growing. I'm going to try these tips. Your hair is beautiful.

When I do my wash and gos I like to seal my ends with a pomade. I use CD’s Mimosa Hair honey. I use loose oils on the rest.

Thanks for the video! Beautiful hair! I always see the wash day videos, but no one ever shares their daily hair routine to help new natural girls get an idea on what a week looks like. I'm going to try your suggestions, thank you!!!

Also keep in mind that type 4 hair SHOULD NOT wash hair everyday EVEN WITH JUST WATER. Also, too much moisture will cause your hair to BREAK. You HAVE to have a balance of moisture and protein for HEALTHY hair. Another thing to keep in mind that ALL hair grows, but because of GENETICS some hair grows faster for others and what works for them most likely won't work for you. If you don't believe me, DO YOUR RESEARCH!

I sleep with a satin braid bonnet on. Your hair is longer but since you pineapple it at night a bonnet can still help.

yup good job. usually now i just struggle to mostly finding the time and energy throughout the week just to keep up with my routine... i was so on point for like the first 2 and a hlf yrs. And now I've been starting to miss my weekly deep conditioning on wash day. Been on my survival co-washes a little too often and/or don't refresh it throughout the week so it really dries out.... lazyness.... (and my job keep me very busy) 🥺🥺

Can you do a video on how to tell if your hair is moisturized or what is moisturized hair supposed to feel like? I try searching this but i only get videos telling what dry hair is like.

So I should wash my hair and then put in the mask? Also how long do I leave it in?
@ShawntasWay5 жыл бұрын
You can wash your hair first if shampooing. If co washing the order in which goes first doesn’t matter. You can leave it in for about 30 minutes
