I love this info! New subscriber!🎉 I turn 41 this year and I can definitely feel it some days. Knowing this age was creeping up on me, I started keto 3 years ago and when I lost all the weight I needed to I started to switch it up and IM fast along with implementing healthy carbs into my diet. I was researching the blue zones and their diets and way of living and decided to start eating more like they do in that region and I feel better than I did when I was on keto! I’m excited to binge watch your channel so I can learn as much as possible 😃💗 Thank you so much!

I’m still on the fence with the veggies… If a veggie makes you have gas and your stomach twist and turn, how is it good for you? And I’ve heard through other gurus on KZbin, who are doctors and what not, dietitians that there are lots of those vegetables that have known carcinogens as well, and anti-nutrients that keep your body from absorbing, the nutrients that are actually in the vegetables are eating… I still eat veggies I don’t eat 10 servings a day but there’s so much conflicting information out there. It gets very confusing.😬

I have fibromyalgia, gluten intolerance and pre-diabetic .I look at it as a blessing because its always encouraged me to take care of myself ,unfortunately it runs in my family . Most videos I research on are great including yours but no one ever talks about what can be replaced for almond flour ,avocado's and salmon nuts etc . Some of us have food allergies . Just wish someone would explain what other food options there are due to allergies because Im wanting to maintain my weight but some of these videos are exhausting

What if you cannot eat cruciferous veggies. I love them, but I have an odd response to them. I become jittery and anxious. I have hashimotos disease and I should be able to eat some cruciferous vegetables if they are cooked, but I even react to them cooked. I can eat very very little before I gave a reaction and it's just not worth it because I can’t gauge how much is too much.

You don’t need supplements for digestive enzymes unless your. Ít no longer makes these enzymes due to surgery or disease. The stomach pH is usually around 2-3. No need to make it more acidic.

@altagraciarodriguez182 Yes, but if you're going with deli meat, look for nitrate-free and JJ advises to still keep that to a minimum, it would be better to have leftover cooked chicken. - Team JJ

Thank you for this , I didn’t know you needed cholesterol to make hormones . I do know when your estrogen declines your cholesterol goes up .. maybe this is the biological reason . Yet we still have MDs who are ready to prescribe a statin for your high cholesterol rather than understand what season you are in .. a problem .

I use CodeAge fermented digestive enzymes with probiotic and Prebiotic today's is a good company reasonably priced I also get my probiotics there too ever since I'm on these digestive enzymes there's much less gas and bloating especially when I eat dairy since I'm lactose intolerant

I like Thorne super bio-gest. Has almost all the ingredients she mentions (no gluten enzyme) so I am gluten free anyway.

I quit sugar & gluten on 6/1. I was 157.5 lbs. My goal is 135 by my birthday, 8/12, when I turn 60. I'm at 140.5 lbs right now. I'm eating protein, drinking water, lifting weights, sleeping better, keeping active. It's all working. I'll never go back..

Broke my femur stem next day anterior hip replacement now graduated to cane. My therapist said 120gm weigh 126lbs 5’7”. 81 years went in in terrific shape. By time eat protein can’t get anything else in. Carnivore basically eggs steak hamburger sardines salmon cheese.

Dexa two weeks after said osteoporosis don’t know numbers. On Alendronate each Sunday. Take collagen taurine glycine creatine creatinine lycine. Fingernail strong but now getting whiter. I don’t color so I can watch.

Are you saying the desired protein intake is PER MEAL or PER DAY? So. 120 grams per day. 40 grams equals 1.5 ounces 1.5 ounces ISN'T THAT MUCH!!

Don’t confuse it with food weight. 1.5 oz of steak is not 1.5oz of protein for example. It’s harder than one would think to get in 40 grams in a meal. I have to be really intentional about it to hit my protein!

I love your content. However, I am vegan and I can tell you there are plenty of plant based proteins that have all 9 essential amino acids. Hemp, tofu, nutritional yeast, tempeh, peas, quinoa, and some others. I also have a plant based protein powder that has all nine amino acids. You don’t need to eat animals. That is where I disagree with you.

Hi, also a Vegan, what product do you buy that has the amino acids in it as well as plant based collagen. I have been looking for ages here in the Canary Islands. Finding it difficult. Any advice would be helpful.❤

I get these two at my local supermarket, Hiperdino, they have lots of vegan food. But where could I get Al the amino acids I need. I have dropped some weight and lost muscle, I'm 75, so not so enthusiastic about going to the gym to build up muscle mass.
