That last one hit really close to home for me because I've been through the exact same thing. The only difference is that I didn't get pregnant and my name isn't Tara. Seriously, ladies, learn to recognize the red flags before you get too close to someone. Even after he treated me the way he did, I didn't really decide to leave him until that night he pulled a gun on me. There were many red flags that I should have recognized before it got to that point, and I could have been killed as a result. The best thing anyone can do is find out the warning signs and learn how to get yourself out of a situation like that before it's too late.

ultragaze The police told him four times to leave us all alone, but it only made him ramp up the harassment each time. I was advised that he's the type of psychopath who gets so enraged by a restraining order that he'll feel he has nothing left to lose and will do something drastic (murder, suicide, etc). The last time a cop called him to try talking him down, the freak filmed himself driving up to my home and leaving a creepy letter on the door. He lives several states away, which shows how much insane effort he's willing to put into it. C-R-A-Z-Y

My cousin had a baby with her abuser. He loved the child bt liked any vengeful case he killed her and her children upon learning she was leaving him. My cousin was a very beautiful and caring mother and to know your children are dying, to hear their cries and know you're next must be the worst fucking thing on the planet. it's my worst nightmare honestly. He sent the photos of each corpse to her ex-boyfriend with whom she had the kids with on his fucking birthday. "Happy Birthday, I killed your family." - He takes the baby he fathered with her and goes off to his parents, he kills himself and leaves the kid in their care. I wish they would adopt her out so she doesn't live so closely to the reality that her daddy was a killer and everyone is gonna look at her sideways, thinking there might be a little killer in her too. Let alone know he robbed her of her childhood, siblings and her mother. He didn't have the gall to face the consequences either.

That last story is particularly creepy. My "X" is a stalker, controller. Once my son reached puberty, he lured him away from me, with promises of more sexual freedom. It worked. Unfortunately, my so idealizes him, and emulate dear dad. He has lots of sex, and to my dismay I have learned that all those years his dad ran off and came back, he was having affairs. Meanwhile the footprints in the snow outside my windows continue. Police don't care, he's a respectable looking guy.

I hope she's keeping a journal of every incident that occurs as well as pictures, video and saving all text messages, recording conversations, keeping an eye witness log etc. because in the end that will be the only way to put him behind bars. Although things have improved for those being stalked legally things still aren't where they should be. A stalker shouldn't be out away only after he's completely destroyed someone's life or killed them. Good luck!

I'd ask what your emergency is, but today's a holiday, so it'll have to wait until tomorrow." caller - "There are men shooting into my house! I need help!" operator - "Sorry, ma'am. You'll have to wait until one minute after midnight to call back. Good luck not dying and all." We aren't talking about some minor complaint here!
