Genius. I never have a need for entire big shop router table that I’d use once in a while

Perfect. Thank you for this. I have been thinking about buying one but didn’t want to throw the cash down for an item I won’t use on a consistent basis

I think I'll build 2 and dedicate them to making style and rail cabinet doors and picture frames .I can pickup a couple used routers on marketplace or craigslist for less than buying a router table. I will probably make the top thicker and reinforce it so it doesn't deflect over time from the weight of the router

Great master wood working teacher you are sir. God Bless

Looks like that full sized router is deflecting the table top quite a bit. Won't this give an inconsistent cut across the work piece as the work piece moves across the unevenness of the table top. I'd probably add some stiffeners to try to eliminate that deflection.

As soon as he said 1/4" I knew that would get pulled down by the router. If he used 1/2" it would be better but 3/4 is best. Simply route out a little to inset the router but still retain full rigidity of the top.

Hello, thanks for the info… on this and the other router tables, I didn’t see you use glue. Would that help with strength and make it last longer? Thank you
