As someone who likes meditating and healing with sounds, I find the music is calming. It almost disappears once your attention is focused on what Jamie is saying. I think the difference is that the left side (video left, Jamie right) is more of a young approach to makeup, we all learned those tips from 17 and teen vogue which is not bad, it gives a fresh youthful look. The right side is more of an elegant and refined* version (like your cool 27 year old cousin who is a bad bitch and is a boss lady) the things you learn when you learn about your face more and test makeup out.
