Just a shout out to say thanks for sharing this video. I successfully installed my Evotech Sliders on my Trident this afternoon. The tape to hold the nut onto the socket really helps, I used the longest 3/8 drive extension and a swivel joint.

When doing the frame sliders you can remove the little 8mm bolt holding the bottom of the radiator to move the rad forward a little. Gives more room so you can get your hand in there(for both left and right) with just a normal socket. I got the T-Rex Racing sliders(OEM style slider, they’re only like $110 and local to me in Dallas) but the Evotech ones look much better for sure. And I think they stick out a little more. The effectiveness of the different styles is infinitely in debate of course.

enjoyed the simple approach to install inexpensive aftermarket parts. i can turn a few bolts but like to install simple little appreance mods, so thank you. im trying to install an exhaust maifold cover to help protect my pipes from rock and debris, what i bought is a two piece wrap around but has no instruction and im at a loss how to get this done. over run by HD's in Sturgis South Dakota, my other bike is hi-way ryder , '23 Triglide i call it my sofa on wheel, gotta love the triumph

you should have mentioned at the start my dealer is just 5km away from me and the moment i saw your intro i was at the showroom in 5mins banging on the sale team door for this colour ...ps i went with this instead of baza orange cause the orange is toooo ....just not my taste and in the rest this colour seems the best but i would like the matt black version grey radiator shrouds along with the metallic silver

Hi. I see from a later video that you've also blacked out the footpeg assemblies, is that more wrap & paint or have I missed an accessory somewhere?
@halohalohikers35712 жыл бұрын
I powder coated at home and baked in oven. It’s easy enough to disassemble and reassemble the rear set.

Hey, nice video, great mods. How did you disassemble the back end for wrapping? You have some footage or manual for that?
@halohalohikers3571 Жыл бұрын
It was really easy. Just pop the seat off, and there are two screws near the taillight.

I just want to remove the red decor on the front fender (Mudguard) did the red graphic come away easily? Only have a hair dryer lol.. I'm buying a Trident In about 4 weeks time as a second bike to my Triumph Speedmaster 1200cc 2022. Really enjoying your videos on the Trident.. subscribed a couple of weeks ago. 🏍....... 🤟😎 🇬🇧

I used a heat gun and a bunch of adhesive remover and it was a complete PITA. I ended up wrapping over it so you can’t tell how bad it looks. To be honest I would just leave it or buy new fenders in the color you want.

You probably should use torque wrench when mounting engine sliders :)

How much would it cost to addd a ABS kill switch?
@halohalohikers35712 жыл бұрын
Hey Jeff, to be honest I have never researched this for myself. I am able to disable ABS electronically on my Trident. Just curious, do you want it off for wheelies or off roading? Your skills sound like they are at a higher level than mine!

I tried wrapping the radiator trim, and the holes for the screws defeated me several times. I gave up. How did you stretch it into the screw holes without tearing?
@halohalohikers35712 жыл бұрын
That was the hardest part! (Also the part that shows some red if you look close because mine teared also). It’s doable though I just saw someone on Facebook with a carbon fiber wrap on the radiator that had perfect holes. 👍🏽

Aircraft steel?wtf aircraft grade aluminum is what u was the wording you was lookin for lmao jesus
@halohalohikers35712 жыл бұрын
Yea it’s aircraft grade aluminum! I must have had marbles in my mouth lol
@pocketlint822 жыл бұрын
There are alot of alloys of both aluminum and steel used in aircraft. And often times the steels are used because they are stronger than aluminum. But saying aircraft grade aluminum is funny since that could mean a ton of things including 6061 and 7075 which is also used for bicycles. Often times when companies say aircraft grade, it is also bicycle grade lol. Means basically nothing. I'd rather know what the actual alloy is
