I would probably say that any video teaching shred techniques is geared more towards guitarists that already have the fundamentals down. 25 years playing guitar and im finally gonna brave this new territory. Bernth is a great teacher too. Looking forward to going to patreon to get his full lessons
@mestoph07573 жыл бұрын
The shredding is awesome but I really enjoys your thoughts on the musical theory and its constructive use in melody and presentation. Those fundamentals are what truly bring your playing to another level.

Thank you for slowing down the lick and not just blasting through it at 1000 mph. It's frustrating when I see others do these types of videos and not slow down so we can actually see what's going on. Great explanation as well.

Bernth, you are the man , always ready to inspire someone who hast lost some mojo on the guitar.I don't even really play much metal guitar, but I get drawn to the way you teach & I find many of your examples can be adapted to many styles of music, and getting dexterity in the fingers is always excellent practise as well as giving great ideas on how to approach things in a way that I probably won't have ever thought about so kudos to you bro, you are a real asset to the guitar community.

The second lick sounds harmonically the most appealing to me. I reckon the last one, with lydian "insert", deserves more digging. Thanks for sharing.

Damn Bernth! This video deserves something like a gold medal award for the best guitar teaching video all around KZbin. Much respect! I Play guitar since 40 years. Shredding has never been something I was much into. Sure, some Blues Rock soli in a jam session were quite acceptable. But today, after a 15 years break, bored and desillusioned, I regret so much that I have never learned it. Actually, to be honest, I was searching for some techniques that sound like Tool or Meshuggah, but feel like the Ramones or Bad Religion when playing and practicing 😉, you know what I mean? Of course you know. This is a good start. Nothing crazy, sounds definitely like more than it is. Exactly what I need. Thank you.

Easy shred licks? Maybe easy shred licks if you have been playing for a couple years and practice a few hours every day! Still, great lesson and licks as well!
@aloroki33502 жыл бұрын
The first one is pretty easy but you should break it down in 5 notes per part like he said, and practice them separately then when you combine them it should be easy and practice very slow at first then speed up

I've been playing for roughly a year now, been playing for some hours aday, but i have some break days when i don't play (abt 1-5 days) and I get better because of the break. I can also do all the licks. Just do the exact things he says and you're done. 🤘🏻

Bruther 🤟 every time I watch you play it just blows me away because your notes are so clean one can hear it upon listening 🎉🎉 I just started playing on a very committed level as I work 50 hour weeks 13 hour days at a shitty production factory that makes buckets and food containers lol been there 10 years now .....I still try to play the guitar after work almost every night for a couple of hours as a way to decompress plus I absolutely am a huuuuge lover of music many types of different music...death and thrash metal 🤟 have been my favorite music tho since like 1984_85 lol.... With so much going on as far as social media I completely stay far away from everything except KZbin because this is my number 1 resource for music stuff live shows , wrestling lol, 😝 or learning videos like the ones you post regularly...I just wanted to say THANK YOU for being who you are and sharing your years of guitar wisdom and knowledge as far as a professional player unto a beginner like myself .... I used to play drums for decades but now it's 100% guitar here BRUTHER 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟😝
