5:07 I disagree, the brake bias can actually gain or lose you a lot of time, when I have the brake bias too much towards the rear, especially with high pressures, I sometimes lock up the rear tires while trail braking causing me to enter the corner a bit sideways, which definitely costs you a couple of tenths and can cause the tyres to overheat. Having the brake bias more forwards the front can give me a lot more stopping power and in corners where I don’t have to brake that much like China turn 1 or Bahrain turn 9, I prefer to have the brake bias towards the front, again, to avoid locking the rear tyres and rotating the car too much, even with the risk of spinning out.

I know all these things. But im still slow and all i wanna know is how to drive fast trough corners. Nobody really covers this. Idk but im still 3s of the fastest lap in time trail with a good setup, no assists. But i just dont have pace

I play on a wheel and online feels so much better I much prefer a oversteer setup that follows the front because understeer feel sluggish, I tend to be too in the lobbies but I should probably try the understeer setup

Dont use time trail setups in career mode because those setups are completely different as to the kind of setup you should use in career mode especially on 100% race distance and tire wear.

After a corner you want rich and ERS hotlap overtake than high +- what is more important to get ers going or the fuel? I see allot first rich than ERS

It would be great with a video on how to best setup an Xbox or PS4 controller, in regards to the brake and throttle sensitivity, i find it really difficult to get that right on my xbox controller, either the brake and throttle respond to slow or way to fast, which makes it really difficult driving with no assists :-) Thx

Thank you for taking the time to create this video, I would say I am pretty good at setups, but struggle coming onto the straightaways in Hungary, Singapore, Japan, Mexico and Brazil. overall qialifying time and race time are faster than the AI, but even with DRS and Overtake, I am nowhere near the AI at end of Straightaway, I believe its not so much the downforce, but probably a combination of my Camber and Toe setups. Thoughts? Thanks again

Aero (especially the front wing) has by far the more significant effect on straight line speed (tenths of second difference). Things like tyre pressure, camber and toe angle have minor effects (usually less than 0.050 sec difference).

Recently I’ve started with a TT setup and moved it to career. For Singapore though my FR tyre was completely overheating when in traffic. The video mentions that this can be an issue with TT setups and mentions how to fix the oversteer but it didn’t mention how to fix the overheating. Anyone know how to reduce overheating? I know changing the diff can help which is what I did. Unfortunately it made the car feel very unpredictable in the traction zones. Because of this I still don’t have a setup for that track which I’m happy with.

Manage your battery so you have enough battery saved up so when you are going onto the straights you can use overtake mode more often. When you’re heavy braking go into low or none also do that when your in someone’s tow. ✌️Hope this helps
