Christmas is easily one of the best occasions for crafting and in this video I show you how to make 5 epoxy resin Christmas crafts using materials that are readily available in craft stores at this time of year.
Handmade crafts make wonderful, personalised gifts, and are sure to be the talking point of any Christmas holiday dining table.
This video is produced and intended for a 13+ Audience. The various resins and pigments used in my crafts are not suitable for kids, so whilst my videos are family friendly, kids are not my intended audience.

I like how the designs don't follow established design rules, like for color mixing and spacing. The random looking results make the projects much more approachable, unlike the perfect looking ones done professionally. These look like real people could be successful.

I think I took on too big a project for a beginner, and I've totally discouraged myself from further attempts - 5 ornaments and one coaster; resin leaking and spilling over everywhere! Very nice! Love the candle idea best. The coasters with the glitter swirls looked perfect without the broken ornaments. I would do the broken ornaments but over a plain background so as not to cover the pretty glitter swirls that made it look like my favorite hard candy. :D - Heidi

The broken ornament coasters look amazing, Going to have to see if I can get the money together for some good resin. I have 2 different resins, one for flooring that has yellowed over the years and a newer one that when it dries it produces cracks. And millions of tiny bubbles that don't float to the surface so they won't pop. But I definitely want to make some coasters now!

Finally found a pro...what is the resin dry time trying new craft project with fam Christmas (beginners)

Hi, all resins have different cure times, and the room temperature also makes a difference. The art resin I use has a gel time of a few hours and a full cure time of about 24 hours. If you check the datasheet for your brand of resin it should give you some guidelines.
