I didn’t notice this activity being exactly what it was meant to be until it was too late. I had fallen in love with someone that probably didn’t really love themselves, and it was reiterated to me in words through an argument, and I didn’t take that for what it was, this person was strange as well from her husband for many years and I believe that I could love this person as much as possible, and I believe that my heart, my soul and everything I gave would be enough I was sorely mistaken. My heart still hurts hard not to look at pictures. Text messages because when I go back, I see so many things that were to charm me into this person, it’s a shame because I saw, with this person, a real life and I believe that none of it was ever gonna happen and for me to come to terms with that took me a lot of patience and time. I had to forgive myself as well as that person more so myself because you hear about heartbreak fantasy, romantic, comedies stuff, nature, I truly believe that no matter what I may have come to a point where I wanted to give up on everything and for me to get to that point shows how much I may have withered, weigh my own feelings and heart and soul into this I gave 200% and the reason I say that is because this person wasn’t even giving me 100 200%not now. It is very difficult for me to not go back and remember the beautiful moments, but I’m starting to realize that those beautiful moments were implemented by myself.

Never run. Prove them to be the coward. Stand ten toes down on the truth and as long as you know you were sincere with no agendas then after many attempts to win you back they will shut up and run from you: because you are the strong one. Narcissists a weak and sensitive and I’ve made her cry numerous times with the truth. I gave her what she gave me and she didn’t like it.

OMG I'm laughing so hard at everything you said bc it's ALL so true. I never knew what a Narcissist was until I met one. But after the relationship ended which left me emotionally traumatized, I couldn't figure him out so I prayed & asked God why did he treat me like he did. The message came back ,loud & clear, "he's a narcissist". So I started viewing videos like yours, to find out what in the world was a Narc?? Sad to say it took me 8 years to get over him( my fault, I couldn't let go). We were not sexually involved, thank God & we lived a couple hours from each other I'm wondering why is it that all Narcs are the same, as if they're reading from a script...weird. Same here. Everything she said is true. I didn’t know the true meaning of narcissism til I separated from my husband for emotional abuse. I started listening to videos like this and I realized and learned something. I learned to block him from everything (except he emails me-it goes to my junk mail) I also learned not to respond, not to defend, not to engage, not to react. I had to do this to heal emotionally and mentally.

@@Emily_Paris good for you. It takes time, but you’re gonna be OK. I am a man that just went through a very strange heartbreaking break up at least my end. I don’t think this person was dedicated to me as much as I was dedicated to her. I don’t think she ever was I think she loved the attention, affirmation gifts, and I also believe that she was also a narcissist. I never knew what a narcissist was knew of it, but I never dated one and had red flags afterwards as fast I might have had instances with them through friendships and relationships, but I never knew the magnitude of how bad, it is this is very very very true. It goes from extremes and amounts of caring showering and love to absolutely nothing at all.

Absolutely. I've had literally thousands of messages often wall of txt messages from someone diagnosed with bpd but who also fits the npd criteria. "Hey how are you?" quickly followed by a wall of txt message about them and not much if any acknowledgement of how I'm doing. You hit the nail on the head.

Yes, I had definitely committed to this person completely and utterly and what I got from it is a lot of grief. She would never answer her phone when I called or when I would ask things it would go into days hours of no response and the moment I go off the grid there needs to be wellness checks. I’m sleeping with someone and I started to really realize that this person was the one doing all this and didn’t want meto embellish that kind of activity what’s good for her was only good for her in the beginning. I thought it was jealousy jealousy to an extent.

Nothing ever convinced her in 6 years that I was loyal. Found out predictably she was cheating for at least 3 years with 4 to 5 other guys. She had me friend zoned for 3 of those years, telling me her body broke during menopause but it works fine with her new fiance. Her karma will come. She's lost all but 2 people and she's already cheated on him twice.
