"Never stop learning" ... I went back to college years ago. On the first day of school I was feeling embarrassed while entering the classroom because I was older than the majority of my classmates. Then I noticed there was an older gentleman sitting on the other side of the room. A couple of weeks went by and I decided to sit next to him and to introduce myself. I was so amazed by him. He was so interested in learning, he was the best student in that class and he was in his late 60s!! I thought to my self: "I want to be like him, I don't ever want to stop learning".

Very good advice! This video makes me appreciate my Mom so much! My elegant mama has all these good traits. She was always learning something--she taught herself several languages and at age 50 decided to take up violin and within 10 years was performing in a symphony. She always hiked and rode horses, trained wonderful dogs, and was always heavily involved in community projects. She still handles everything with good humor and grace even though she's 96 now and needs round the clock nursing assistance. She was a fantastic role model! I also think her good attitude and constant self-development are what kept my wealthy Dad interested in her for over 50 years. He was really proud of her!

For exampke, instead of taking all your clothes out at 1 time, try working on your closet for 10 minutes. Get a box, set your phone for 10 minutes and go through your clothes, what you don't like, doesn't fit, etc. put into box. Come back to it the next day and try again. Some days I did 10 minutes, other it took 30 or 1 hour, so it at your pace, try on items make new outfits...It works!

I’m so glad Anna mentioned to only apply perfume on the pulse points! So many ladies overspray or apply fragrance and it is overpowering . Only cheap perfume is overpowering.
@dabarefootbombshell3 жыл бұрын
Her advice on spraying fragrance on the pulse points only is not universal. It depends on how hydrated your skin is, the concentration of the scent, and the weather that determines how much and where on the body you can spray. Most luxury fragrances come from the Middle East and those scents have a potent oil concentration which is why you can get away with those little dabs. Roja Dove the leading perfumer in the world says a lady should spray anything that is in motion from skin to scarves. You shouldn't use perfume on your neck though because the alcohol can age the delicate skin in the neck area.
@Rumpelstiltskinsdaughter3 жыл бұрын
@@dabarefootbombshell yes your right, never on the neck, only behind the ear. I wouldn’t suggest spraying on scarves , the oils will stain the fabric and also break down natural fibers like silk or cashmere.

Because of laws that protect fragrance manufacturers from sharing “trade secrets,” almost every perfume sold commercially is crammed with chemicals that aren’t listed individually on the product packaging. The last was actually the best and it actually works. Sometimes we apologize/ explain ourselves for no reason and lower our vibration.

yes! i needed this! I'm always in a defensive mode and it's so hard to let go of this mindset... but I'm working on it! I'm taking baby steps and i know i will be much better if i keep going :)

The part about defensiveness is straight to the point. I will certainly work on stepping back and ask myself: "what is happening, what am i reacting to,etc" and not jump on it. Very good video, thank you ❤

The last habit and tip is really important to save you energy! Taking a defensive position when being triggered can happen again and again, over and over, costing so much energy every time. If you learn, why you are triggered and how you can handle this sensitive point, care for this point... Then the trigger won't effect you anymore, because you can handle it well self-aware and elegant like a lady! :) Thank you Anna for this tip!

Thank you Anna, I’ve really been focusing on decluttering, my husband is a minimalist and I’m a maximalist and it’s been a point of contention in our relationship because I was so defensive. I’ve seen the light in a sense, and I’m on my own minimalist/organized journey!

More women have this problem than men.I suspect it has some deep nurturing elements. It is not classified as a sickness though, just a disorder.

Being tidy! Was always a No No even when I was younger, especially the undies that is/was placed wherever, I remember how my Dad once told us that if you are that kind of Lady, as if you are putting your genitalia just wherever too! And it will definitely reflect what kind of person you are, whether you are hygienic and a smart Lady he used to tell us. An elegant Lady knows how to managed their emotions, not defensive at all, you got me there bulls eye! I am working hard not to be so defensive but rather act in an elegant manner, not that easy but can be developed to be that elegant Woman I want to be. Thank you so much Anna!

I love the way you present your content Anna, you’ve really evolved over time. Congratulations and thank you for sharing your ideas and knowledge! I go through my wardrobe twice a year and declutter clothes that no longer serve me. Last year I took it a step further and Marie Kondo’ed all my drawers. I love pampering my skin at night, diffuse essential oils in my home, and wear a little perfume everyday. I do it for me, because..... I’m so worth it! Cheers from Montreal!

You changed my view on so many things and only for the better. I am still unlearning many harmful things - that I should have goals like men and approach life like a man to be valued. My eyes are opening and it's mainly thanks to you.

Self education is still legitimate education. Lots of people said they learned more about economics from Dave Ramsey and Robert Kiyusaki. That is better than taking a student loan and going to college. I would rather self educate. That is why KZbin is the best type of social media, unlike TikTok where you don't learn much.

Preach!!!! Schools these days are indoctrination camps and full of nonsense. I was an A+ student going to school to be a nurse and future goal was neurologist I dropped out and started self educating and I have never been smarter in my life. I buy at least 3 books on amazon every month and maintain learning that is actually productive....

Tip number 5! All the way! I see this trait with many women. It is something I have worked hard to overcome. Many just don’t recognize it as a problem and assign the trigger on the other person. And you are right, it creates unnecessary drama and negative emotions. Bravo for speaking the truth!
