I came across your channel about a year ago. My first impression was that your content was regressive, taking women back by years. However, I continued watching your videos and soon realized that what you share is valuable. I do not necessarily aspire to be affluent, but I want to be an intelligent, independent, and elegant woman. You have made it easier for me to be that woman. Lots of love from India!

I think the reason Anna may sometimes come across as aggressive is because she's direct. That's becoming quite rare in this world where too many are becoming overly politically correct. Also, women are so obsessed with being liked. We're brought up to please people and when someone is not ticking that box, sometimes it creates an icky feeling inside of us 😊
@Sarah.g.carter3 жыл бұрын
@@IevaKambarovaite absolutely correct about women being brought upto please people! we are also often encouraged to dislike women that are different than us rather than to just respect that other people have other goals and ways of living. Anna, I want to share something with you and to everyone here. I come from a traditional family from my father's lineage. The education standards in my household were so high, that I would never even think about a bad word in my mind to say to anyone, because I have never learned that. However, after living alone for several years in the USA, I came across very bad people, with very bad language and I started to think that was normal. Hip hop culture and rap culture is not only music, but it is a lifestyle. And unfortunately, I accepted this lifestyle to become my life. I believe nothing can be more depreciative then hip hop and rap culture to somebody's life. The way we communicate is very important and once you allow hip hip and rap to enter your life, you start communicating like a low-class. I am slowly trying to exterminate hip-hop/rap from my life after spending years listening to that.

YES! I grew up opposite- poor in and incredibly low socioeconomic/educated environment and hip hop was the de facto culture. My (now) husband grew up educated and affluent. He told me that one of his greatest turn offs was women who listen to hip hop because he automatically files them into the low-class category. I completely cut out this genre despite growing up to it, and my life has since evolved and upgraded significantly! Remember- everything we allow into our environment through sight, sound, etc, seeps into our subconscious, which is how we communicate with the universe. Keep everything in your environment as elevated as possible and your life will begin to elevate as well.

I usually buy fresh roses every Friday. Now that it's summer, I use Mother Nature's bounty. I remember my mother once visited me and asked bitterly "who's bought you flowers?" When I told her I did, she asked with a hoarse voice "Why?" I told her that I couldn't think of a better person to buy flowers to. That I deserved to be bought flowers to, that they make me happy and I believe people should do whatever it takes to be happy. (My mother is a malignent narciccist, never liked me and never misses a chance to take me down) I could see her taking a sweet moment to come to terms that someone would think she's worthy of fresh flowers. Can you see? They are more than fresh flowers. They are just as precious and beautiful as you are.

I agree with Anna when she mentioned the "Fresh Flowers" ! I've been doing my own flower arranging and displaying them at home ( it since my mid 20s, ), and have recieved complements for it from everyone, saying that it made the dining room and living room fresh and very elegant. Also because of this, people (house visitors/ acquaintance/ extended family / friends told me that I gave the impression of someone 'refined' and 'cultured'. (P.S. I'm not showing off. My apologies if it came out that way. It's their words, not mine) I'm just saying Anna's advice do make a lot of sense!! 👍👍

@@ciiiwaaa but what can I do with fresh flowers 🌸 other than put some on my dining room table? Like plaster my home with them?
@ciiiwaaa3 жыл бұрын
@@parisjoy7875 haha that would probably help, there are studies that show that the presence of flowers in hospital rooms even help patients heal faster, or feel less pain! But in my interviews people told me that they just mindfully interacted with flowers - certain flowers have very specific meanings across cultures. Maybe you can choose your next bouquet with that in mind! E.g. you want to feel more joy when walking in to your living room so you fill it with sunflowers. Or you have a specific memory connected to peonies or your wedding flowers so you buy them when you feel like being reminded of that etc.. and giving flowers is a great thing! Everyone loves it, even men. So gifting flowers will be a great way to make others feel better, its a classy present and you will be happy you made someone else smile. It can be very personal :) Biologically we all love flowers because their presence once meant fruits and thus food would follow

Dear Anna, I just finished listening to your latest podcast. What a refreshing presence you have! There are aspects in which we diverge, yet I deeply respect your opinions. I couldn't agree more, the most elegant habit is accepting graciously other points of view and not getting offended needlessly. We basically agree on the most important things. I look forward to your next podcast.

Think before you speak 🗣!! It seems simple but it requires high level of self awareness. This includes handling emotions/ self regulation/ good communication skills. Some people have it naturally but some don’t and they need to work hard on it. Bur if you get it you can achieve what ever you want. Thank you Anna!! You are special 🌺

What I ask myself before saying something is Is it kind? Is it true? Is it necessary? And if it doesn't meet all criteria then it's better left unsaid. Some truths aren't kind and/or necessary to say, so unless you can mean it in a helpful, kind way, don't say it. Thanks for the tips Anna!
