It's so sad how much food marketing tries to trick people regularly!!! Processed food really does need to be labeled much more transparently.

Isn't it crazy! Especially for food marketing to children. If you haven't watched the Fed Up documentary yet I highly recommend. It talks about the harmful effects of added sugar and how the food industry and marketing impact our choices.

This video was really helpful and the quality of the food I've been eating has gotten a little lazy since baby number 2 came along, and interestingly but not very surprising, I'm starting to get some joint pain in my hands in the morning. So far today, nothing but whole foods. Yay me. Super informative video. I appreciate it! :)

For someone that drinks coffee and typically adds sugar (about a teaspoon of organic sugar), would substituting the sugar with Allulose or zylitol be acceptable?

The only ones that affect me are the sugar and refined flour products. The rest I don't use or eat at all. So those are my biggest issues. Interestingly enough, I read labels so closely because of my son's food allergies and restrictions but I don't read them as closely for myself.

What about olive and avocado oils? Those are seed oils, right?

Those are oil pressed from the fruit and are high in omega 3 fatty acids unlike the refined seed oils high in omega 6.
