There have been 170mph production cars since the 60s. So the answer to “impressive, isn’t it?” Is no.

Not so much how fast it can go, its how fast it gets there. That was impressive. Not to mention the difference between 125 and 170 is yuge. I've only ever done 140 and it felt very different from 120. Even Nascar makes changes to slow cars down because the physics at such speeds make them too dangerous.
