please do more tutorial on fusion
@ReidVVАй бұрын
A year old, but your are so much more on point and clear than other tutorial creators. Rapid, organized and no time wasted on any content that is irrelevant. Fast, clear learning, as it should be. More please. We need you. Fusion needs you. Blackmagic Design needs you. We all really do. Thanks. Truly. Gratitude. G

You’ve taught me so much about After Effects over the years, and I would love it if you would be willing to show us how to do all those same things in Fusion. Honestly, I’ve wanted to switch to DaVinci for a long time, but the thought of re-learning motion graphics in an unfamiliar node-based software is intimidating. I literally got so excited when I saw this video because if you are willing to make the tutorials on how to do your style of motion graphics in Fusion, then I’m 100% sold on switching to DaVinci. Seriously, thank you in advance. You have no idea how valuable this is to me. Have a great day!

I switched to Resolve about 19 months ago from Premiere. I was tired of the constant crashing and hanging when trying to render a video. I’ve had multiple custom built PC’s and silicon Mac’s and it’s always the same story. Enter Resolve. There was no doubt a bit of a learning curve, but watching a few videos on setting up controls for speed and efficiency, and I could never go back. Resolve just works. So much, in fact, that I ended up shelling out the $295 for (LIFETIME) access to the studio version. I have 0 regrets. Thanks for the video! Great tutorials

Yes, more tutorials for DaVinci Resolve please!!! I’ve been using Resolve exclusively for personal and freelance projects since 2019.

Great Tutorial! I originally switched to Davinci Resolve for 3 reasons: Node based editing, better colour grading and I don't like Adobe. I later found that the Edit tools are really efficient, and using Expressions and Macros can really speed up the work flow. Davinci doesn't have an intuitive UI, but then After Effects is a real dog's dinner of a software. As soon as I got the hang of Davinci it became a joy to use, and it's getting better all the time. The only downside is that there are so few tutorials, and most of the decent ones are focused around film editing and colour grading. As a fan of your After Effects tutorials, it was like Christmas to find that you guys were considering doing Davinci tutorials. It really feels like Davinci is gaining momentum, and there is a gap in the market for content that leans towards motion graphics. Please continue!

Thank you for sharing! I still have ways to go to get a hang of Fusion. But that is true for the lack of tutorials when it comes to Motion Graphics. Thank you for the support!

I made the switch at least 5 years ago now. I love the stability and how everything is integrated. I do a lot of VFX and color grading so fusion is awesome. I could definitely use more motion graphic tutorials on resolve

It would be great to see more tutorials on motion graphics in fusion from an experienced motion designer. I quite often use tutorials on AE and then just repeat the same tools in fusion. I would like to see advanced techniques and adaptations of AE techniques in fusion. There are a lot of materials on fusion dedicated to complex compositing, but not enough on motion graphics so far.

Over the years you've helped me hone my AE chops. I'm using Resolve free version and it's quite powerful. If you could continue making these Resolve tutorials I believe they'll be a hit with many folks delving into DaVinci Resolve. Many thanks

Great tutorial. FYI, you don't have to add a merge node everytime you wanna merge something, just add the output of a node to another node's output and Fusion will add a merge node automatically. You should definitely make more Fusion mograph tutorials.

Just switched from Premiere and After Effects due to cost. I’m not currently doing pro graphic design work and taking some time away so can’t justify the cost. Also figured it was a good time to learn new skills and video too. I have a tiny channel on Modular Synths that I’m using as a learning platform for things related to video and wrapping that up with the switch to Davinci is great. So far I’m only on my first video in Resolve but love it. I can’t tell you how much time I spent animating circle bursts over time as a fill in animation. This node structure would have saved me so much time! Amazing tutorial!

Premiere Pro hasn't been working for the types of projects I create. It's been nothing but a pain, headache, and worse! So I'm switching. As someone who isn't trained, nor is video production part of my artist skill set or actual content (just backdrops to my performance art pieces), I am learning as many beginner tips as I can before I redo an entire project Premiere refused to export the day of my first massive staged (filmed with audience) piece. I had to make it a Technical Dress Rehearsal and use my deeply flawed sound check reel...crossing fingers all the tutorials aid me in creating it fast! I have 3 weeks...Thank you for this. A short primer with so much information! You've given me confidence that I'll be okay and this will be easier than PPro for how I edit and what I need to see on screen!

I just found this video and I am soo happy I did, it looks really good. I made the swap from adobe premiere pro to davinci resolve mostly due to price and also other people suggesting it. but another big factor was the fact that i was sick of haing to use 5 apps to do 1 thing well and it made no sense when davinci could do it

Great tutorial. I'm switching from adobe because of the usual suspect. Money- And also the bit about using my creations to teach AI. I want to still have a job in the near future xD. I liked the fusion panel but the nodes were a lot to take in compared to the way premiere and after effects organize the items. Your video is spot on about the essential aspects and now Im more confident about the change and wanting to learn more. Greets from Chile.

Good stuff! I particularly like the way you did the swirly lines and bubbles effects. Noting that I'm a complete noob to both DVR and video editing generally, I had some beginner problems reproducing your project in 18.6: * When I opened DVR and selected New Project, the edit tab had nothing on it, and right clicking on Media Pool had only two options: Show Icons and Labels, Shows Icons Only, so New Fusion Composition was not available. Instead I went to the Fusion tab and dragged a Background node to the Nodes pane. I don't know if that caused any follow-on issues. * After dragging a Text+ node to the nodes pane, the Modifiers option in the Inspector was not available. I added a follower and was then able to select Modifiers, but some things like changing color of only some text didn't work. No idea what that problem is.

More tutorials in davinci resolve please. I moved over from Adobe due to the one off CHEAP price. I also prefer the idea of nodes over layers.
@helmanfrow3 ай бұрын
I'm just getting into video after being heavily into audio for nearly 30 years and graphic design for nearly 40. I have no ties to (or love for) Adobe at this point, and the node-based compositing workflow seems vastly superior to the layer-based ways of the past. Throw in a tightly integrated production environment plus a very attractive price point and starting in Resolve is basically a no-brainier.

Hey yes please more tutorials on davinci. I'm editing what will probably be my last video in permire pro cs6 right now. Cs6 is easy for starters but lacks all the features that cloud has. I can't shell out $33 every month just for pro not including after effects. I refuse to eat ramen and starve for Adobe. Switching to davinci. I love your tutorials for after effects and want to stay teathered to your channel. 🎉
