Why can't everyone else explain things so concisely? They'll say, "Ok, we're going to start doing this" but then, they'll talk about five different other things.

That ease-in tip really helped. It must have been way back around 1987 when a colleague told me about right-click. Took a long time to figure out that it was a good thing to use to learn neat functionality. Somehow, with new and complicated programs, I tend to forget, but you have showed that would be a serious mistake. Thank you.

Great video! Question: Does this work the same way with Adjustment Clips? I only have the option of "Linear" when I right click on the keyframe in Transform in the Inspector. Thanks! Update: Got it sorted. I was clicking on the diamond next to the word Transform and getting nothing. I only got linear when I was clicking on functions that didn't change. When I clicked on the one that did change (in this case 'Position'), I go the ease in and out options in the right places. Thanks for the great videos! Learning something new every time!

Hi Alex I really appreciate of your tutorials. I would like to point on something: There are bugs in the Edit page. If I change the keyframe from linear to ease, the curve changes for all functions except Position. The function switches to ease, but the curve stays linear and I have to manually create it, and if I'm doing simultaneous zoom and position, it's impossible to match it manually. Also, it would be good to have a separate window just for keyframes in the Edit page like in the Color page, if it's a more complex animation and I'm doing it on the Timeline, it's messy because I have to stretch the track across most of the screen and shrink the other windows. In the Color page - If I animate any feature, it is not possible to copy and paste keyframes, I would also welcome the ability to reorder keyframes by dragging the mouse like in the Edit page. Thanks a lot for your great work. I love Resolve:)

I didn't know you could right click them, lol. I've been dropping down the bit under the clip and messing around with going to each item in the drop down menu and adding the curves that way. It's a super long way of doing it, especially when you have multiple things keyframed. I'd like to know how to change the curves in a fine way, such as along the X axis in small increments through. Doesn't seem easy to make minor adjustments clicking and dragging that tiny dot.

Key frames are a pain in the edit page. If you ease something as simple as scale and position they go all weird. They only behave properly in fusion. Any idea why key framing in resolve is so clunky and annoying?

Perfect timing. Just what I was looking for. I’ve just had a Drone Adventure at the East Coast where there is some coastal erosion and I have a picture from 2019 and today that just about line up, so using these to change the opacity so the we can see the change. I hope it turns out okay. Any advice on my videos appreciated. I’ve become a little lazy with the editing lately.

I have an issue. I've been using Davinchi Resolve for over four years now and have been able to edit Open FX key frames. Recently I tried but the box you open by clicking the on the diamond icon does not show up. It only does when you add a non Open FX edit. Is this a bug or did BlackMagicDesign remove this feature?

Wow. I just downloaded the Studio version and literally went back to Premiere because I didn't know how to keyframes things lol.. This gave me hope to go back to Davinci. Now I have a question, am I able to save the keyframes as a preset? and if not natively, how are there backdoor ways to do so? and secondly, does keyframing allow for motion blur as well? and if so where would I go for that. Apologies, I'm super new to Davinci, I know how to use the basic functions, just not familiar with what all i can do just yet

During the shot I'm editing, a cloud passes by and makes one area very dark. I therefore want to adjust the color correction (here, exposure) during the shot using keyframes but I can't find it in the "Color" section of Davincin. Thank you :)
