Now I mix 2/3 Amla oil into shampoo and 1/3 biotin shampoo for dry hair, and just Amla oil on the ends, and massage scalp for 5 min. Then I wash out & scrunch. For treatment, I always use leave-in conditioner, scrunch, then curl cream, and scrunch.

I've been able to grow my hair back with liittleextra reactivate hair growth serum. Taken a three-month apart. First one in Jan, second in March. It's important to apply the serum directly to the scalp and massage into skin with very little pressure. Do not pull on your hair. The hair coming in seems to be good quality. I have less hair fall over all. I apply it at night, the serum doesn't make your hair greasy, but you only need a few drops to work - less is more. I also, switched pillows cases to a satin material so that sleep is easier on my hair.

My personal hair growth progress and success, I myself adhered to this daily regimen: Take early morning sunshine daily for essential vitamin D. Consume vegetables of all colors. Applying paraben-free and fragrance free hair shampoo and gently massaging twice a week with hair oil by litttleextra's cooconion. Important to keep in mind that hair growth is affected by overall health as well as circulation and nutrition.

So I called B.S. on this as a Biochemist. Hair consists of alpha-keratin. Alpha- Keratin has amino acids that are apolar/nonpolar and their side chains will bond fatty acids in oils. So, oils will bond hair no matter if you apply heat or not. Heat will probably help a little bit. But it isn't necessary. Rosemary oil has been shown to promote hair growth. So, that part is true. But the protein in hair bonds oil/fatty acids no matter what so... you can just apply it to the strand sans heat.

I didn't know that you have to think this much just to oil your hair 😂. And what is wrong hair oil?? I'm Indian, I've had my hair oiled by my mum and dad since I was a baby, and they always drench my hair with oil and even I like it drenched. So here's my advice or take for you or anyone reading this (btw, I've fine, straight hair and they are thick). The main and major thing that'll help your hair is Champi! that is massaging your scalp when you apply the oil, no matter what oil you use, they all work the same, unless you're allergic, buying expensive oil is just waste of money. Traditionally in India, we use Mustard oil and coconut oil and if you're really rich or something then olive oil and trust me all of the 'science' and 'hacks' behind hair oiling is just a simple thing and that is champi or massaging. People here put the oil in for 2-3 days or more, some people don't leave their hair without oiling it, but ideally I would say 1-2 days is more than enough.

Hey i agree with what you said..... Since being Indian myself i know how this works...... It worked fine for years 25 yrs to be precise...... But then hair started getting thinner due various reasons..... Then i realised the same oils which worked for me doesn't work now..... So i had to ditch my holy grail coconut, and mustard oil ..... Now i only use lighter hair oils ( homemade concoction) also very less oil tbh..... So now i have lesser hair fall .... Require lesser shampoo to clean..... It feels light ..... Also it doesn't warm my scalp much like before...... Also if i ever want to use mustard oil in winters i mix with other lighter oils ...... We Indians are genetically blessed...... Also geography and climate is different to other countries.....also the eating habits and lifestyle is different...... So what the lady is saying in video is not completely wrong ...... It very depends on hair texture and your ethnicity...... Hope it helps some of you.....
@babushka5545
@babushka5545 2 жыл бұрын
@@Komal-xp2lq I hear you, it can happen but I think it's more of an environmental factor rather than oil thing, cause I too use a tempered coconut oil with curry leaves, Fenugreek seeds and Aloe Vera, because in this time and day it's good to have something extra but buying 40-50 dollars worth of hair oil is not worth it. And I can see how different climate, eating habits and ethnicity might affect the style of oiling but still I don't think buying expensive lighter oils will make a difference.
@babushka5545

@@loco7357 I don't know about where you would find mustard oil as I'm not from the States or where ever you live, but I think you might find it online. For the coconut oil, I use it regular but I kinda temper or boil it with curry leaves, Fenugreek seeds and Aloe Vera and keep it in a glass bottle after straining it, you can make a big batch and store it. I would recommend you to not use warm oil if you don't have an extremely dry scalp, use your fingers to massage and if the oil solidifies, melt it with your hands and apply it.

i have extremely fine hair and the amount/heaviness of the oils doesn't matter much when used in a treatment (being washed out anyways). i don't use coconut oil bc my hair hates it for some reason, but i use all other oils. as a treatment, i douse my hair in it and later wash it out. i've noticed significant improvements in my hair doing this. obviously use a tiny amount if you're keeping it in/going out but don't be afraid of using oils like a hair mask.

Heat up some oil to a temperature you can touch and apply it to your scalp and massage with your fingers, 2-3 hours before you wash your hair. Keeping oil overnight can actually cause infections. ALWAYS dissolve shampoo in warm water before washing. Double clease if your scalp is oily. Use a conditioner or mask on the length.NEVER USE TWO TOGETHER hope it helps. Keep in mind your hair is very fragile when it has oil on it. Be careful brushing it and use a wet brush if you must. The tight hair style will lead to breakage and traction alopecia in the long run. A loose bun would be better.

Step 1. Warm coconut hair oil (or whatever suits you) + castor oil, apply it and leave it overnight (or at least 1 hour) for it to work. Step 2: Wash it off. Step 3: Apply conditioner of your choice to the roots of your hair. (Optional) Note: If you suffer from dandruff, apply lemon juice on your scalp at least once a week and wash it off after an hour or so. Can apply it before shampooing as well.

It also depends on the type of hair oil ur using, thicker hair might be able to handle thick oils, like caster oil, but for those with thin, or with less, their hair will not be able to handle it, so it all really depends on this basically, besides the amount ur using.

I hate the western “outlook” on a lot of these videos. “Don’t use too much oil”, Indian people have been putting oil in our hair for millennias. If our hair is the most sought after in terms of wigs and extensions, I would suppose we’re doing something right in regards to our hair care. I know not everyone has the same hair type, but please understand my frustration when I see water down versions of rituals and practices our ancestors have been doing for ages. It becomes annoying when I see “influencers” trying to educate the public of things they don’t know much about. I can guarantee a lot of westerns have only recently started hair oiling about a year or two now since it’s become a *trend*.

A lot of different cultures have been using hair oil for centuries, you’re not special. People will always take something that exists and make it their own, there is no 1 way to do it. Also you guys have a different hair type than western people, it’s literally in your genes so even if you would not oil your hair you would still have better hair than a western person. Some people their hair will not respond well to leaving it drenched and apparently indian hair can take it. But you’re acting as if she’s bashing your culture when oiling your hair is such a basic thing for many women of different ethnic backgrounds

I wouldn't use coconut oil on your hair. It can actually cause more damage. You'll find alot of misinformation on coconut oil. There's alot of better oils out there for oiling your scalp and hair.

For your hair, yes. But coconut oil is highly comedogenic and can cause hair loss if applied on the scalp

@@Luana-ry3wi I've never heard of it causing hair loss but I do know it can cause scalp issues because it can clog the hair follicles. It can cause scalp conditions like dandruff and or dry scalp and things like that.

Just so yall know you do not need to heat up the oil because it heats up as your massaging it in and you do not need a scalp massager (your fingers work perfectly to get the oil to penetrate).

There’s really no evidence for it and can lead to overgrowth of malassezia yeast and aggravation of seborrheic dermatitis. Like putting oil on your lengths can help keep it smooth and shiny if you’re prone to tangling and roughness but don’t freakin put it on your scalp

So interesting how Americans are acting like this is their trend, their idea, girl indian and latin American women been doing that for decades, soak your hair in oil, sleep with it on your hair, there is no wrong oil just have to be an organic natural oil , I use rosemary, mixed with castor oil and tea tree oil, and my hair is long and think, for years, stop acting like this is new cause is not , maybe is new for you Americans but not for the rest of the world
