The Morgan has an Ash Frame like the traditional cars. The chassis used to be Steel but is now a bonded and rivetted aluminium platform, very similar to a Lotus

Great video Reg, the B58 is certainly one special engine. I cannot say that I have noticed a huge effect from the heat encapsulation on mine though. I run an OBD water temp gauge and the engine is always stone cold on a winters morning, even if run the night before. I guess another positive side effect of heat encapsulation is less mechanical noise.

THANKYOU FOR YOUR FAST REPLY.... Have you ever sent your oil to be Analysed to find which oil is better for you car this would show which oil is best for the B58 engine.. Millers or Liquid Moly. Can you tell any difference between the 2 oils..at all.. Would love to have both oils analysed after they have been running in the engine for a few months compare any Difference in the Contaminants in each oil test..

I can’t tell the difference tbh. An oil analyst would be a good idea, to see the general health of my engine however! Both Millers & Liqui Moly are great oils. I can’t tell you which one is better however. But I trust both those brands.

@@roadreg1820 Thankyou.. So it's Millers or Moly.. Finding a good garage to change the oil and filter.. that puts the exact amount of oil. Even BMW dealers can over fill the oil which we can not check no dip stick and how precise is the Computor that checks the oil amount. If I had the ramps I would definitely do this myself knowing the oil as had the correct amount checking the amount I need and precisely measuring the correct amount of oil..

Hello.. Ive just Bought a 2020 BMW M240i coupe with only 5000 miles never had any modifications at all Totally standard which as had 4 services at BMW.. Can you tell me which engine oil would you say is the Best you did mention Millers way Millers I do only want the best oil for the B58 engine. Can you help...

Hi, congrats. That’s really low milage! Yeah, so 5w30 Millers is great, and also Liqui Moly Top Tec 5w30 (orange label), that’s what I’m actually using currently. I fancied a change, as I’ve been using millers for a while now. Both are going to be great for your engine.
