At 13:46, the gel print and kizo paper make an exciting zig zag pattern. I like to have continuity that flows between layers of collage papers.

When you had your hero piece and the Kozo paper on top of everything else I would have found another canvas and started a new one with those two stunning pieces an finished the first one with something else that played well with what as already there. The new top is glorious.

I sort my prints into three pile. A. Complete. Frameable as is, or with resizing. B. Needs more layers, and , or colored pencil, rubber stamp enhancements. C. Backgrounds. Use for collage, greeting cards.

Hi Froyle…do you varnish these collages? In the past when I varnish over a metallic it’s changed its appearance, and not in a good way.

A matte varnish will definitely take the metallic shine off, I like to use a gloss varnish because I love the saturation of colour & the shiny look! 😍 cheers
