I refuse to watch another YT "how-to" that has 100% narrative and ZERO problem resolution video presentation. Please confirm it suggests replacing the pump and none of the other myriad, less severe alternatives you can also find vaguely presented on YT; e.g. clearing the fuel line, cleaning the glow-plug screen. I invested in a Honda gasoline generator a long time a go, and just use a electric space heater. Going the generator route also allows other tasks to be achieved, like changing tires, charging my laptop and phone, and my pancake compressor to fill my tires up with air, fast. I also carry tire plugs to stop or slow down a tire leak. I think generators are well worth the investment for this business.

When it breaks just replace and repeat super cheap and keep the broken ones for parts or rebuild them on your downtime or slow periods you had me roarin with the car horns to replace the swear words😂

@@EverythingApax I wanted to tell you want I have learned about these, the blast tube gets sooted up and best way to clean is a propane torch in the tube to cook the soot to ash. I have found that once its very hot with torch to then take compressed air and blow in it and the hot soot will super heat to a yellow hot color and burn up ,then i just wash it with some good detergent and blow out once more. The screen does not need replaced so much when you clean it this way but watch that the disc in blast tube has not shifted because its only pressed in . The other thing I discovered is problems with the hall effect sensors on blower motor causing fan to slow down or go off, the magnets are too far away , The solution is to tap the fan rotor in closer to the magnet contacts. Also if you want to adjust parameters enter passcode number 1688 on controller to adjust fan speeds or want to up your heat settings to a higher pulse number(I went to 6.5 on mine). Hope this helps someone .

Might wanna move the fuel pump to the floor so gravity keeps it primed. And if its ran low/out of fuel, itll be easier to prime it. An air bubble might have gotten caught and not a pump failure...

There is a primer setting, which also did not work.

Those pumps also have to be pointing up because of the gravity causing air pockets.

@@EverythingApax does it matter which end of the pump faces upward? I have mine setup with the inlet higher. I had starting issues but they seem to be gone.

I do know that on my espar fuel pump that is located close to the van gas tank outside underneath there is a tiny screen in the fuel pump inlet that comes out with a tiny pick. I have that and my espar serviced every year. Be aware that the exhaust pipe does clog up with carbon over time, preventing it from running as well. I learned that from experience. At least it did on my B4 espar. Do you have anything to protect the heater from freight while being loaded or unloaded?

I think your filter is backwards & your pump needs angled at about 45°

No kidding. Pump must stay up 90 degrese best position. 90 down to min 45 degres. Under u will kill the pump dobbel fast as normal. Many video here on youtube that tell you why and show you inside the pump and why. Have link to where you ordered you spare parts ???

Your diesel pump will brake at that potitione. 45 degrese minimum but 90 is best. Air boble dont lube your litle piston in pump. Hurry turn it

I have a question My diesel heater stopped taking fuel in. The pump works and push it through but its leak u see the heater where is the inlet in. So not sure what that could be.. it runs for few minutes, doesn't heat up and then stops/ goes into shut down mode Anyone knows:(

@@EverythingApax well It’s pushed through by pump but where the fuel line it’s fixed to the heater it’s dripping down, Xx oz of the pressure It might be coz heater doesn’t take the fuel in or the inlet it’s blocked or maybe the heater doesn’t ignite ?!

@@EverythingApax hmm Did have 08 couple days back, then it was working for a day or so and now it just blow cold air and the fuel is leaking under the van from the intake. I had big massive air in fuel line , no idea why but the pump was pushing it through and good 6inch to close the heater intake it’s full of fuel no air bubble, but it leaks even I taken it the line off and put back on Now after trying for 6/7 times it shows error 10 , Simon have taken cues off, pop it back on and still the same problem with the leak

@dank5372 email me at [e-mail] Code 8 is flame extinguished Code 10 is non ignition The hose should not leak so get a clamp. But the main issue is your glow plug. Is this unit old or brand new?

@@EverythingApax blows air lightly. Only once air came out warm after compressor kicked in. Now it blows just cool air. Once compressor kicks in blows cool air for like a min and then shuts down.

@@EverythingApax I've heard the pump clicking a few times but nothing. And the remote dial is just weird... can't tell if that's the problem. There's no way to shut it off using off button.

@@johnblack9926 with a box van you'll have less payload if you want to stay under 10k gvwr and normally poor mpg. To me it doesn't maximize earnings potential. If your reason for going the route of a box van is lower up front cost I get it. You can definitely get by in a box van. Depending on the connections you have for freight or find the right carrier it could work out great.
