Steve's career is a good example of how being honest about, and true to your intentions (as long as those intentions are good) and you put in the work, you can have a really good time in the world. Making good work and providing good value makes people want to work with you. Singing loudly and poudly with your authentic voice makes people want to listen to you. When people you don't respect want to put limits on your work or abilities, you should ignore them and or not do work with/for them. Have good terms. Be honest about your temrs. Stick to your guns. you will likely get asked by others to repeat that behavior for them. Good video
