Another thing I have noticed after trying to kick a volley or a side volley for many many times is, that it's really helps to control the shot if you kick the ball when it goes downwards, and not right after the bounce, when it bounce upwards.

For low driven passes, I like to give it some backspin without getting it in the air. It makes it slow down, or sometimes even spin back a bit towards the end of the pass. I noticed its a lot harder to hit, but when you get it right, it is really easy for your teammate to run into.

Does anyone know how i can improve on actually hitting the ball with the right part of my foot? I always mess up juggling and the ball goes forward or to the sides and i constantly miss the ball when it gets passed to me in the air or miss the ball when i need to shoot. Does anyone know any good exercises to help me actually touch the ball, instead of it going under my foot or hitting it with the wrong part of my foot. ( like when someone crosses i sometimes cant exactly stop the ball with my foot, and i stop it accidently with my knee and the ball goes nowhere)
