I realized some time ago that the dopamine reward I get from makeup is from the actual application process more than the end result. That means the experience of it is really important to me, and that’s where luxury and high end really outpaces drugstore, for the most part. Of course I also want a good end result, but we have so much great makeup across the board now that I don’t really need to sacrifice experience for performance.

Current top 3: Dior Skin Correct concealer (finally a concealer that works for me 🎉); Gucci Soft Red (the way you feel about the Armani blushes is how I feel about the Gucci ones) and finally the biggest revelation, Guerlain Ombres G quads (the baked ones) they rule supreme in my luxury eyeshadow formula ranking.

I just ordered a box of VB Beauty and dayam I 💯 get what you’re saying in the intro. The lid lustre is a new obsession and the packaging is so beautiful. I did not get that same jazz from the Mac paint pot I got the other day that does substantially the same thing

I like High end makeup, I rarely buy luxury other than Natasha Denona, Dior and Pat, but I do like Armani. I have only ever used their luminous silk foundation, I was going to try the blush in the bright pink ecstasy shade but the reviews were very mixed on it, so I bought the Too faced pink blush instead. I might consider the Armani blushes in the future if they go on sale, as the price is too expensive for me

The Chanel Ultrawear Liquid Lip in Tender Beige is my absolute favourite luxury product - and I don't even like liquid lipsticks lol! But this colour is perfect on me and it is so long lasting. If I know I have a long day where I probably won't be able to touch up my makeup - this is what I choose. Honourable mention to Soft Coral which is great in spring/summer.

Of all the products you showcased I only have the Armani blushes and they are gorgeous!!! I picked up 4 shades and there is one more I want. They truly are beautiful! My top 5 all time favorites??? Oh my gosh that's so hard Martina! So I'm gna go with products I can't be without! 🤣 1.) My Tarte Tartelette Tubing mascara! It's my all time favorite. It doesn't smudge or give me racoon eyes and is very lenthening! 2.) My Pat McGrath Opulust glosses! They give the perfect shimmer effect to a matte lip without being too glittery! I use them all the time! Aliengelic, Lavendaring, and Pale Fire Nectar are a couple of my favorite shades 3.) Charlotte Tilbury Setting Spray.... need I say more? 😂 4.) Pat McGrath Eyeshadow palettes... you couldn't pry those from my cold dead hands!! They blend effortlessly and you can go for a subtle nuetral look with a Satin shade or go Glam by layering her Special shades! 5.) Valentino eye and cheek blushes(powder) they have a beautiful sheen. My Armani and PatMcgrath are a close 2nd place!! So hard becasue this has been the year of blushes!!! GXVE beauty is on its way up too since there is a Satin and a matte in each palette but I haven't had them long enough to rank, I will be getting more colors! Great recommendations Martina!!!❤

I agree that the Armani blushes are outstanding. I have 30 and 51. I am fair like you and think you would love 51. It’s a more neutral pink that really brightens me up in a more natural way than the bright blue based pinks that are so popular right now. I’m trying to decide between 10 and 11 as my next pick. Fun video ❤

I am still kind of on the fence about the Chanel Byzance quads but I think I’ll pull the trigger. The byzance quads aren't that pigmented, from what I've gathered. Guerlain is releasing a similar toned quad for their fall/ winter collection.

Dior skin glo foundation...kosas concealer or tarte creamy concealer.chatlotte tilsbury colour corrector charlotte tilsbury cram bronzer😍😍 and satin lipsticks...hourglass powder and pat mcgrath under eye powder...pat mcgrath motherships❤ ive never tried high end blush apart from pat mcgrath and i think there nice but i was a little underwhelmed ....any recommendations for a glowy blush

WARNING ⚠️ the Mario concealer contains coconut oil Martina et al. It’s the fourth ingredient. For me the Givenchy Prism Libre, the Tom Ford Bronzer/Highlighter face palette, Charlotte Tilbury Pressed Face Powder, Hourglass Illuminating face powder trio. I’m having more fun with indie eyeshadow palettes and singles, lip formulas from smaller companies. I rely more on skin prep and sunscreen than primers. The only place I’m serious about primers is on my eyes. I’m more concerned with how my skin feels and is protected than adding another step. I wear more tints than foundation these days. I am curious to see how the Chanel will perform on its own. Thanks for sharing your list.

Did u ever get the Chanel blush quad that released early spring they have it back instock on chanel site and I am thinking of the lighter one of the two and wanted to know if u think it's worth the money 95$US I have the rose inc serum foundation I haven't tried the Chanel yet . So the trick I’ve found for the dropper on my Gucci highlighter is to suppress the pipette while it’s submerged down in the bottle. If I do it first then dunk (the way I’d normally use a pipette), I get absolutely no product.
