Last time I went for my 8km run I badly hurt my right calf. I promised myself that I would never run without stretching beforehand. Today I went back and found this video to stretch before my run. Not only did I feel great running, nicely warmed up, but I also did not stop once!! Best time so far too: 6’38 for 7 km outside run. Not bad 😊Thanks!!

I’m 34, slowly returning to being active and this was incredibly helpful. In my 20s I did century bike rides but in the past couple years let my self go. Getting into running and trail running hopefully this time next year I can leave another comment saying I’m back!!! Hold me to it 💪🏽

Averaging 18ish miles bike rides 2-3 times a week and have been doing 2mile jogs 1-2 times a week. I’m most proud of my consistency! I also have a 9month old pup that helps me get out on my jogs 🙏🏼 you checking in is so cool! 🥹

I searched up stretches for Shin Splits and your video popped up … I love running I run 3 miles a day with one rest day … my shins feel so sore it was never like that but as a avid runner this is normal for it to happen … I’ve been suffering for 3 months now I’ve iced … I’ve rested … etc etc … I did your stretches and was like hell let me run and dude !!!! (HIGHLY RECOMMANDED) Alright so I have been warming up using this Stretching Routine for the past 5 or 6 weeks. I was not a runner before and I needed to start at some point so using this method after 6 weeks or so I am able to run 5k in 35 mins which is a good start. This warm up helps me run in a moderate pace where I can enjoy every second of my run and not get tired of it. Thank you once again.

I use the Runna app for my training but I find their warm ups are too aggressive. This is the one warm up I’ve been using and never have a complaint. These stretches really get the job done! I started exercising regularly on a mini stepper in February and it gave me a gnarly pain in my left knee. I started a Couch to 5K program in April and searched for stretches for beginner runners to alleviate this pain and prevent further injury and did these stretches every time before I started and sometimes after I finish and my knee pain has disappeared. Thank you so much for your simple, free and easy-to-follow content. I stretch every time I start exercising now because of you.

With my old stretching routine I always had some sort of calf pain in the following morning. With the stretching exercises that you do, it has taken away my pain completely. I’m not sure what change made that much of an impact but it’s very helpful.

When I did research on what may be the cause, the main reason, was not stretching enough before and after a running. I used to be a (hobby) runner and loved it, and then somehow really hurt myself and it’s been years since I’ve been able to have a running routine. Anytime I’ve tried running again, I have crazy knee pain where I can barely walk, no matter how much I stretched before. For some reason this is the only flow of stretches that has kept me safe, I’m on my 3rd run and no pain (besides my growing muscles of course) :) so happy to get into routinely running again!

Thank you. Usually after 2 weeks when I start feeling body fatigue and my legs starts wearing off I quit running. I found myself in the same position today but this time I decided not to quit and try doing stretch work and see if it helps. Hell it does. Not only did I manage to make it to 11th day running and completed 8 km running but also I really enjoyed my run today. Thanks a ton!!

This is brilliant! I'm doing the run 100 in 30 days for cancer research, I am 100% non runner, played football back in the day but that was over 12 years ago! And it's super hard found this video somehow and it's making my runs sooooo much easier, thank you, I will be watching this vid everyday

Started using this warmup before runs after continually dealing with sore calf’s after runs. Haven’t had any calf issues in the last 2 months!

I have been suffering with a hip flexor issue for about a month now, I have tried all sorts to ease the issue I came across your warm up and followed it to the letter, I have just come back from a 7 and half k run and pleased to say I didn’t experience any pain for the first time in a month !! 👍

I got stress fractures in both my legs and found out literally a day before i was supposed to run in regionals. I felt absolutely defeated and didn’t run the entire summer. this was about 3 months ago and this morning was my first run and i feel great! Thank you for this video!
