Typed recipe for myself but thought I'd share Boil 30g SDT to rehydrate. In a cup create a flax egg (1tbs flax, 3 tbs water). Dice and saute 2 cloves garlic and 1 small red onion in a medium pan. Add 2 TBS soy sauce or tamari and a pack of chopped mushrooms. Combine sauteed veggies in bowl with a tin of kidney beans, 100g bread crumbs, 1 tbs nooch, flax egg, chopped parsley, and chopped SDT. Hand mash to form beanballs and fry in pan.

Ive been a meat eater 28 years, always thought the vegan life was boring food wise. Just shows how under educated the people of today are. I watched a documentry after documentry, then last night i watched a documentry on netflix called what the health, it really got me thinking. After watching a few of ur videos i now know the food is not boring. Thanks to you 2 im ready to change, also its not just my life you will be changing its my 2 children, 3 and 6 years old and for that i cant thank you 2 enougth

Nice one lads, alternatively, you could put all those ingredients in a food processor, with a lot more beans, and a half cup of wheat gluten form into balls or sausage wrap in tin foil and steam them for half an hour, makes a more chewy 'meaty' texture, then chill or freeze for whenever you need a quick sub.

The more I watch your videos the more Vegan foods I end up eating and researching. Great job guys, you have got my attention. Little by little I have been reducing the meat content of my diet down to a small percentage of what it used to be and down to eggs,fish and chicken for the most part. Baby steps

No need to go full vegan. I also eat less meat nowadays and more veggies and fruits but I can't resist a good old BBQ.

If you get a chance, check out Dr. Mercola's website. The latest research, done over 6 years, shows that the vegan diet is the least researched diet. It was created in the 1940's and has NEVER been undertaken by a significant portion of any people or tribe, in the history of humanity. The main point is that the vegan diet is NOT GOOD over a long term basis. Plus, it still involves the killing of animals, which is inescapable

great recipe, as usual guys, i love watching your videos although i wonder if there is a need to use the sweetener in (almost) every dish you make (even if it's a humble chilli or something alike)? For me that's just kind of unnecessary, adding additional "sugar" withouth any benefits to a perfectly good recipe, or have i missed something? ☺ keep up the good work guys, you're an inspiration and looking forward to your next video! ☺
@documentarychannel31827 жыл бұрын
Took me 50 minutes, but I'm a very slow cooker... Regardless it was delicious. It's the 2nd video I watch from you and the 2nd dish you inspire me to cook. I've been vegan for almost 8 years and I'm only now starting to try interesting recipes, I wish I had gotten into it earlier. Quick question, did you both become vegan together? I have a twin as well who won't give up animal products and I'm wondering what to do to get him inspired...
