Been to all these places except for Venice und loved them. But I just don't see how Prague and Venice are "underrated"? I think of underrated cities as being really great but getting overshadowed by other places that get more attention. Warsaw, Poland (by Krakow and Gdansk) or Valencia, Spain (by Barcelona and Madrid) come to mind.

I mean Prague and Venice aren't overrated. They're so visited. My favorites city in Europe is Vienna without a question. Budapest and Prague ain't bad either.

Prague was great but now its ruined by pervasive scams and mass tourism, luckily there's more to the Czech Republic than just Prague

Venice is underrated? Well...the problem of overtourism in Venice tells it is not.

Some of the most underrated and also my favorite european capitals are Tallinn, Minsk and Skopje. Almost no tourists, relatively cheap and also some amazing food, especially in Macedonia.

I went to Ljubljana and Venice last month. Ljubljana is a beautiful city and the best place to stay in a hotel if you want to visit different parts of Slovenia because it is right in the middle of the country. Venice is beautiful too but overcrowded and overpriced. Instead of Venice, I would recommend visiting Burano that's near Venice.

My top 5 underrated cities in Europe would be: - Lucca (Italy) - Basel (Switzerland) - Plovidv (Bulgaria) - Ghent (Belgium) - Lyon (France)

I appreciate giving Venice some love, it is by far the most impressive city in Italy and I would argue the world, there is just no place like it and I dont know if there is another city that has it's own unique architecture style. When you are ever in Venice try a Select spritz, it will blow your mind!

Hey! I'm portuguese, I think Lisbon is the best city, but Porto is also beautiful. Algarve in the south has the best beaches and the archipelagos of Madeira and Azores are also really beautiful. If you actually move to Portugal, I hope you like it! Greetings🇵🇹

Visited Prague, Venice, Reykjavik and Ljubljana and agree with these choices (though I’d have Ljubljana as my no1) although wouldn’t describe Prague and Venice as being underrated! Certainly agree with your point on Venice being good because of it having no traffic - the key reason why I preferred it to Rome

I agree with your suggestions. I love Prague and my first visit was in 1970 when it was very different but still beautiful. I visited about ten years ago and it was busy and following restoration even more spectacular.

Hate to repeat what others have already said, but as much as I loved visiting Venice, it’s not overrated in the slightest and neither is Prague lol. Eitherway, this was still a really enjoyable video and definitely made me want to visit some destinations I’d never even heard of before

I've been to all five on the list: 1. Prague: great city but already very highly rated. Not sure it belongs on an "underrated" list. 2. Venice: doesn't belong on this list. It's complete tourist trap with over 20M visitors a year for a tiny city. Obviously super unique, but no idea how a place with such a big reputation is somehow underrated. No one overlooks Venice, it is one of the most famous places in the world. 3. Reykjavik: small and expensive. The best part of Iceland is the nature, not Reykjavik. Reykjavik isn't bad, but it also gets tons of visitors so I'm not sure how it is underrated. 4. Ljubljana: agree on this one. Cool city, great vibes, fun stuff to do - more interesting than Reykjavik but has good day trip options like Reykjavik does. 5. Andorra: I don't really get how this ended up on the list. The main attraction of the city is tax free shopping. It has beautiful surroundings but the actual city itself is not that interesting, IMO. Obviously everyone has their own opinions, but would have expected more under the radar places from someone like Drew who is so well traveled.
