The communication with validation is truly important. There’s a difference between telling some hey you created problems you lied, manipulated, etc… and telling them this made me feel confused, I didn’t understand what you needed or where you were getting it. It’s a huge difference because it can easily turn into blame shifting instead of understanding and communication.

Yes!!!!! Good communication does NOT equal passive aggressive behavior and/or straight up accusation... Both, terrible conflict resolution strategies. Validate each other and gain perspective. 1. When something is triggering you... What are you making it mean about you? 2. What do you need to relieve how this is making you feel? 3. What is the strategy for how you will get these needs met?

What I've been getting from both you and Brene Brown is vulnerability is not the problem it was made out to be of curse their is a potential of being hurt even when you express your vulnerabilities but the potential of being seen is even bigger and that's worth the while

The part where you talk about validating each other's feelings, how to talk to each other and etc. It reminds me of the book called "nonviolent communication". He basically focused on how to communicate with your partner in a way that expressing what we feel and understanding each other's needs too. Boring book, interesting concept. The whole idea in expressing and understanding needs goes over my head. It's such a complicated topic.

Excellent work once again! I had an idea! Do you think in the future you might provide these same videos but in a power point type format? Your face is super pretty but I'm a visual learner and I'm betting many people on KZbin are the same way. If the key information was available written on screen with your voice explaining, I think your work could reach a whole new wider audience! Also, thank you! For all you do!

So i have this struggle i want to be with my BF but I feel that my feelings are block n the story doesnt help cuz it want to push him out but i consciously know i want him, is terrible cuz the study telling is a block making it harder to open up in the first place, I recently become like this the past weeks n though not much of it but it's threating my RL, my thought associate the negative that never happen n when I break through them by going easy my though turn from being nice n lovely into im going to get hurt n just waiting for it to happen , n due to my FA it want to get them met put uses distraction to get them it's so annoying n i didnt know i allowed it to get worse. The job to undo all this is even harder bit worth it it's all safety n trust n love affirmation n mental exercise ,( mindfullness)
