the first time i ever heard kelly’s story was on a podcast where i had to take a days long break from listening due to how sickening the crime was. and they didn’t even include all of the details you did. it’s genuinely one of the most horrific crimes i’ve ever heard, and i hope kelly’s resting peacefully now

Yes. And sadly, we create monsters everyday. Not everyone treated terribly turns out that way, and yet we keep risking it. Abuse at home, terrorized and preyed upon in institutions, bullied, horribly oppressed or forced to be a refugee, or suffer as a victim of war. We keep creating situations that, especially when compounded, can create monsters that in turn, destroy, put a blight in the world. Cruelty leads to cruelty (or self-destruction, as sometimes the emotions are directed inward). Broken people break others.

In this era we KNOW that certain environments CAN affect people to become dangerous (though some DO come from stable, loving backgrounds, and MOST who suffer horrific experiences go on to leaf good lives), why risk it? At this point in history, we should do better.

Absolutely, as a woman I'm just a sad shell of a person but men...they take it out on others, there are exceptions but it usually works like that. I heard men with BPD get underdiagnosed because women with that disorder might show up to the doctor but men end up in prison long before they seek help.

​@@c.w.8200Never known many bad men my father RIP he used too put hands on my mother a very volatile relationship but he was by no means an evil or bad person and was very open n honest n deeply regretted that stage off his life, but him n my mother were friends afterwards and I got too see him a couple times a year up untill he died when I was 16..I think they split up when I was 2 Yr old but I got too see him probably 30 times in my life all which all were great memories...but apart from that most men I've known growing and since have all been decent men I've yet too meet any serious animals plenty misguided undiagnosed boys n men who commit low end crimes n getting into fights and these sorts off things but all the people men and women in my life have all been decent people with there normal problems we all have so I guess I've been fortunate and it's not like I've lived a sheltered life either trust me on that lol.. so I wonder why I've never met all these evil people evil humans which many people seem too think are out there everywhere ..🤔...cheers

I have a question, will you make a video about Michelle "Shelly" knotek? She is one of the most evil mothers/serial killers to ever live. You should read Gregg Olsen's biography he did on her. If You Tell. Through the eyes of the daughter's she terrorized her weak husband (I think he had a little bit of Stockholm Syndrome). And I do believe her mother-in-law. She gives good old Carl a run for his money, in my opinion. Oh, and Joel, thank you for making my day with your stories for over 5 years now (

People may think its strange how he had no idea what bad shape he was in and immediately wanted to leave the hospital as soon as he got there, but I had a similiar (but very different in some ways) experience when my appendix burst and the doctors kept on thinking it was something else until I eventually got an MRI...roughly 7 hours after it had burst and flooded my body with toxins. The doc who did my eventual emergency surgery (about 8.5 hours after the burst) said I was lucky to survive that...yet once they figured out what it was and finally gave me pain meds I thought my severe stomach cramps were much better and I was ready to go home😂 (I did end up finding my clothes and sneaking out of the hospital a day early and calling a cab to take me home... family and doc werent amused)
