I hope it helps anyone lacking confidence: My best friend is a person who lacks confidence in a way, that sometimes you would assume he has little to no confidence. Though he had no problem with dating people, it would never go into the kind of relationship he desperately desired. But he has so much great qualities as a person, that he managed to find a partner who accepted him for who he is. They're now planning to move in together and this is without to say, that he still hasn't got more confidence in himself. So, if you lack any thing from these good traits, don't panic, you have several other attributes and values that make you a great person! I think confidence is at the top of everything. As she said, peaple make an idea of who you are the first time you meet, and they don't have time to really know if you have good qualities. They have to believe in your image of yourself. I have had low self-confidence since I was young. And that has made dating difficult for me. Even though I had good grades, I was kind, good economic position and I even was good looking. But I couldn't get to peaple. They didn't find me attractive. I tried to talk but it didn't last. When I finally found a girlfriend. Even though she started being very kind and complacent to me, she got used to me doing extra effort for her. I acted like she deserved everything just for being with me, but never asked her to do something for me. She got used to it, and started to get angry when I didn't do something for her. She deserved everything. I didn't deserve anything. So our relationship was over soon. I'm changing that way of thinking and I know I have changed a lot. I have read books about self-esteem and done all kind of exercises. It is difficult, but we all need to believe in ourselves and love us the way we are. Before loving anyone else

My crush is someoneo I rarely talk to but has changed my life without him even knowing. Although I can also agree to the statement of "ways your brains betray you when you are inlove" but I have become more self aware to my persona. As much as I would like to believe this, at 4’,9”, and built with the frame of a child, and I mean, even with the muscle mass of a child, there are some things people are not attracted to, and one of them is adults with the body of a child. Some things just aren’t seen as attractive, and as much as this video is scientifically valid, there are things that people just don’t get around. I know because I am 41 years old and I’ve been trying to find it first date since I was literally 16. I literally gave up in my late 30s when I just decided that I’m done. No more embarrassing myself by trying to meet people, dating sites, group, whatever’s and so on. I’d rather just enjoy my life as it is. Even if it’s going to be alone. Better than always. Embarrassing myself. Trying every damn thing to see which one lets me meet new people the best. Nobody wants someone this damn short. I look at someone shorter than me, and I see just a child. That’s what people see when they look at me. I am literally a child. And honestly I don’t blame them. Even my face is not built like an adult. Nobody wants that.
