You've help me "understand" something very basic I've already known. "Voltage is Voltage is Voltage".. the idea of using say the pitch output of a sequencer to modulate parameters on my fx modules. I sometimes look at modular in Narrow terms (pitch goes to v/oct, lfo to filter cutoff) I already knew this concept but this video made it click in an applicable way that will effect the way I patch from now on. Very cool. Thanks!

That's amazing! I always say, just because it's written gate/voct/pitch, and so on, doesn't mean we cannot use other signals :)

Kind of inverse, even though it *doesn't* technically have a 1 v/octave input, I had great fun composing and recording a track recently sequencing my Lubadh with a gate and 1 v/octave sequencer, by zooming in on a clip of recording from my classical guitar and then adjusting until it sounded right, then ended up with weird shifted sequenced guitar chords.

Do you run all your voices with one envelope generator with multiple outs? I’m just thinking about how I would do it in my set up. I have a mult and maths which I’m using to shape the voices. Would that work? I guess a dedicated envelope generator would be ideal? Thanks

I go,back to this video of yours and it makes me wonder. It’s a lovely workflow that you showcase here, and I never sequencer more than 4 tracks anyway… I’ll have a think. Thanks for your help.

A couple of very nice features on the KSP re: randomization that don't seem to be available on the BSP. But we'll survive. I mean how much randomness can one handle? (On second thought, I guess 'handling' isn't what it's about.) Once again, a very, very useful / suggestive video that will take me down yet another ORH (Omri Rabbit Hole). Thanks once again.

Seems like global, patterns and notes all have their own ways of adjusting. Kinda starting to grasp the offset feature added in 2.0 firmware, but it's still a bit confusing. Especially tracks, is there a way to adjust all of the patterns at once?

@@butsukete1806 Sorry, Mate. I come here with a BeatStep Pro not a KeyStep. I'd probably put you wrong if I tried to help. The Arturia manuals are generally pretty decent but they don't make it easy to cherry pick a feature or function, i.e., no index.

Would it be interesting to do a video about the MicroFreak with Eurorack? I know you know it ;) Maybe it would be redundant, as there are some shared features with Keystep Pro (CV, random (spice/dice), clock in/out...), but MicroFreak has pressure in addition ;)

MicroFreak is paraphonic, but I don't how it would be possible to play chords on Eurorack with MicroFreak. Impossible?

Yeah, that might be a good idea. It will not be possible to use it to play chords because there is just one CV output but maybe with the Midi out it could work.
