The mystery of Lori Erica Ruff was fairly recently solved. A forensic genealogist was able to analyze her daughter's DNA and traced her family to a small town in Pennsylvania. From there, a private investigator found Lori's parents and uncle, where it was discovered that Lori, born Kimberly McLean, ran away from home after her mother remarried, and changed her name and social security number so she couldn't be tracked. It's likely that her parents' divorce traumatized her and she wasn't willing to let it happen again with her own husband, and that's why she went crazy.

The Isdal woman is very similar to the Sommerton Man, found on a beach in Australia. Both had no ID, had tags removed from clothes, and other efforts to hide identity. There's also a case of a man committing suicide in a seaside town in Scotland. He had late stage cancer and slowly disposed of his personal effects, always out of view of security cameras....all tags removed from his clothes as well.

Some people find tags itching on the skin unbearable so I guess some of those people would cut all tags even before wearing an item just incase and out of those people some could have paranoia related issues and of those a few are bound to die outside alone somewhere. Maybe even not and it’s just that 1or2 wanted to be remembered so go about to create a sense of mystery, it’s a possibility if their dying anyway. I know it doesn’t explaining it. But we’d have an idea if someone went about getting some data so we’d have figures to compare. Like if we knew whose accounted for whose not accounted for and whose disappeared for everyone in the criteria and backgrounds etc maybe out of all of them one would be resolved and we’d have a list for the next time somebody’s found with a mysterious death. I’m sure one of them at least as loved ones that spent their lives wondering. I grew up before Facebook and the internet and I think about 2 people often that’s come and went with no trace or explanation as there’s no parents or families were known, one had mental illness if they didn’t have their meds then they’d go a bit crazy. I’d love to know they’re ok and what kind of life their living/or lived. Also if you knew a spy, chances are you wouldn’t know so again their should be another log to keep tabs that could be released when it won’t compromise anyone. I think it’d be interesting to see if any missing persons turn up and it could bring peace to families.

About the Isdalen Woman - Norwegain investigators are looking into that case again and have now an on going investigation about her. They have found some of her DNA and her teeth that they are looking at. It's quite interesting and hopefully they will find out more. That case is 50years old.

I have some news to tell you about the Isdal woman. As a resident of Bergen, Norway, I like to read our newspaper, and while i was on my way to school today I did just that. I found an article published this morning saying that, 1) Her remains, which was thought to have disappeared during the 90's, were just found again under the hospital of Bergen. 2) This means they might get a DNA profile after over 40 years. 3) They are considering opening up the case again. 4) The Norwegian tv network NRK announced yesterday that they were making a documentary series about her. So the case might get solved and we might finally know her identity soon.

Honestly I think she had something to do with a shady operation. But it seems possible that she was on the run from people and was lying about her personal identity and information, and was asking to change rooms a lot so that she wasn't followed. One thing that could be possible is that she was on the run from a hitman, who was paid to kill her, so she did her best to move away and change her identity, but it proved futile. Although that doesn't explain the men following her in the woods.

James Ritchie Yes but the family they ended up linking her to was determined through DNA and they've provided photos to support it and explained the backstory. They didn't even come forward initially like other people did, they were tracked down upon discovery from my understanding. I find it odd though that divorce would be her reason to just up and disappear. There has to be more to it.

On the Isdal woman: this is typical of Cold War/ WWII OSS trade craft methods including removing clothing labels, learning several languages, maintaining a cover story or false identity and using/crafting false documents. I would say that well trained "spy's" or case officers don't keep notes-- even encrypted notes on them during the Cold War. Neither, do they hike with their suit cases. However, it might be likely for an agent trained in trade craft by a government agency. In this case the Isdal woman may have been a KGB agent the murder seems typical of the USSR. Well crafted but sloppy and easily discoverable murder which it was probably an agent not a KGB officer. During the Cold War zealously patriotic women were often employed as KGB agents to "Honey trap" other agents, case officers, government officials and other high valued persons with access to secrets. She was likely killed by another agent or killed by the person she tried to gather secrets from. On the phone call was likely a bogus lie the ICPO would have said "we're still investigating" so even if they were involved would maintain cover and secrecy.

ah good btw you should mention this, I was talking on reddit after collecting the best bigfoot evidence and me and the other users connected the dots on why bigfoot is real and the evidence makes sense, really the internet needs to see this! Because they can't always hide if say injured or old and thats why the bigfoot in the PG film wasn't able to use its instincts to hide from the men, and even if she could run she didn't because running is a sign of weakness and the bigfoot may have thought the humans were predators. She didn't run and looked back a couple times instead of eye contact as staring is a sign of aggression, plus I firmly belive the PG film is real from how the ape has muscles and everything, and since we added animal behaviour to explain the other bits it seems so convincing. Also a youtuber called thinker thunker did a video showing the PG film is real because of the body ratios.

The 1990 Huntington Jane Doe was identified in 2017. Her name is Andrea Kuiper. (There was another Jane Doe from the same area in 1968 and she has also been identified as Anita Louise Piteau.) Lori Erica Ruff has also been traced back to her original identity. Apparently she had a very rocky relationship with her stepfather and mother, so she ran away, and changed her name over the years a few times.

alan hall After extensive evidence and examination by countless private and public investigators, and documentaries who devoted time and effort to solve the case, they have concluded that the man by the name Dan Cooper died shortly after he jumped out of Airline flight 305 into the Portland night. He had no control over his maneuver because of the type of parachute he used. This has induced investigators to conclude that the westerly winds had lead D.B. Cooper to the ocean, wherein he would've died in minutes, due to its low temperatures, never to be seen again. It would explain the money being found washed up a connected river, and being enshrouded overtime. If this is the case, it would also explain why nobody ever found him or his body, or why there has been no sightings of him.
