Brilliant My Friend... I invented a SideBar tool in 2011 but yours is far more simple... You are brilliant ... Way to go... Probably should not be advertising this though perhaps...

Wow glad I never bought into Primus!

When primus first came out I cut down a key so all it had was the finger pin cuts and the bow of the key was almost complete cut off. Using that as my tension wrench and rytan diamond hook was not able to get any play to get the pins to hold at the sheer line. Wonder if the tolerances are different in the newer locks. interesting watching this. Would like to see locks being picked out in the field in rain, snow temperatures below zero laying on the sidewalk to pick the locks at the bottom of a glass door. Try picking a padlock lock 20' up the the built in ladder in a warehouse.

I have been picking these a long time with a dimpled type of rake tool. How many have you popped this way?

Thanks, I was surprised when I found these could opened like this. I normally don't rake much but with these it works so quickly I can't help it.

Really if you disassemble a lock an change the pins any lock is simple to take/pick... Also popping a retaining pin while calling it a sidebar is a pretty good way to impress people....

That’s true, but Everest and Everest Primus are in fact distinct

Everest have a Check Pin. While Everest Primus and Classic Primus have Finger Pins.
