None of this is what the medical literature says. 1. Dry shampoo is as bad or worse than regular, because it uses alcohols to dissolve oils, rather than water and surfactant. There's also no difference between "natural" oils and the ones in conditioner so you're fine washing every day as long as you condition afterward. 2. Supplements have been shown NOT to work. Water-soluble vitamins are cleared by the kidney in excess every day, and adding more just increases the price of your urine. This includes Biotin and B supplements. They're also not regulated so you're on your own for whatever risks you take. 3. Red light therapy in clinical trials shown to be less effective long-term than minoxidil or finasteride. These devices are FDA approved because they largely don't do squat except drain your wallet. 4. Ketoconazole can be effective but isn't first line treatment. Mechanism still not understood just like Minoxidil but less proven. Here's what to do if you're thinning. 1. See your doctor and ask about it. 2. Start Finasteride 1mg daily and try Minoxidil generic brand for 3 months. If you're not getting a response, consider a hair transplant.

The thing is, if I just shampoo, I loose like 5-10 hairs and then if I kee0 pulling my hair, nothing comes off. But then applying conditioners makes more hairs to fall. That's why I rarely use conditioners. What am I doing wrong?

@@RiasatSalminSami you are not losing hair because of conditioner, but because your hair is getting miniaturized and week, thus falling off with a slight pull. With time it will get worse if you wouldn't do anything about it with finasteride.

I read that Biotin like any other vitamin has no noticable effect unless you are actually suffering from symptoms caused by an actual vitamin deficiency. And 100 microgram of Biotin is sufficient as a supplement to reverse that deficiency. 2000-5000 microgram seems extreme in that context. Disclaimer: I'm not a doctor or specialize in hair loss, use my advise on your own risk and discontinue usage if you found to be allergic to any of it's ingredients This is just what I found to have a good scientific backing To save precious time and money, before starting any treatment try to find the root cause of your hair loss first. It's not gonna be easy to properly diagnose but might help give an idea what's happening. 1. Check your cholesterol levels, Iron, Ferritin Level w/ Iron Binding capacity, Vitamin D, Serum DHT, Estrogen levels, Free and Total Testosterone levels 2. Address all the deficiency first (You might require supplementation) and avoid crash dieting. To reduce stress and inflammation, have a nutrient rich diet combined with exercise and meditation 3. Use 2% Ketoconazole Shampoo and make sure to leave it on your scalp anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes, using 1% Ketoconazole Shampoo (which is shown to be less effective for hair loss) and not leaving it on your scalp for a few minutes is just a waste 4. Use a Derma Roller (1.0 to 1.5 needle length) every one week, two weeks or three weeks 5. Use cold pressed Saw Palmetto Oil combined with Pumpkin Seed Oil (Extraction and Quality matters for it's effectiveness) orally and topically on your scalp and massage for 10 to 15 minutes 6. Add Rosemary Essential Oil (Which is just as effective as 2% Minoxidil but not 5%) and Peppermint Essential Oil, 3 to 5 drops each to your shampoo and the oil I mentioned above in point no. 3 7. Develop and be consistent with your routine because hair loss is a long battle Never lose hope, you're much more than your hair.

Washing your hair as little as possible actually CAUSES hair loss. If you don't wash your hair, product build up, dirt, oils, will clog your pores on your scalp. And your hair grows from your scalp, so stop giving false information. Worrying about the oils on your hair strand has little to do with what grows from the scalp. Just make sure to condition after you shampoo and the conditioner is not applied to the scalp and only on the hair strands. You should be washing your hair at least every other day if not every day.

I'm 18 and I have a hair density of a 59 year old man and a face full of acne and it's really depressing. Lol I've tried everything and I think I've settled for my condition. What's even more depressing is that I discovered that girls at my school found me attractive before all this shit happened to my face. It's feels like I had it all but just for a while. And now I just walk around with a shaved head.
@RiasatSalminSami5 жыл бұрын
Miscellaneous Secret you can get a hair transplant. But if you are balding at such young agr, then keep the hairline very high. Dont try to get a low hairline transplant. As for acne, yeah they suck. Mostly because they itch ike hell nd if I itch them, it bleeds and hurts. Try to consult doctor, drink good amount of water amd change your diet and hope that it eventually does something.

hi I'm on the fence about any treatment but I do have a question and this goes for anyone reading also, dont know if this is normal as iv never noticed but lately washing my hair after a few days I noticed a good few strands on my fingers and a few on my pillow on a morning , paranoid as hell as hair loss is something I definitely dont want will be going to see a doctor to confirm this but thought I would ask when you wash your hair is hair on hands or in bath normal? Thanks

If you're washing it without shampoo you're just rinsing your hair or conditioning it if you use conditioner. You're not actually getting enough oil, dirt and product out of your hair to be "washing" it if you're not shampooing.

Hey man don't feel that bad for balding guys. They should shave their heads or talk to a hair doctor about whether the hair loss is baldness or something causing hair loss. In other words most guys control their hair loss.

@@rafaeldiaz7636 There are far fewer people who's balding is "genetic". Like I said if there's nothing that can be done then shave the head. If not do what can be done like change habits and stuff. It doesn’t really matter at all what you say, this all comes down to genetics. detratestosterone is the main factor of male pattern baldness. It doesn’t matter how much you moisturize your hair follicles when it has nothing to do with how healthy the follicles are, it has to do with the strain of testosterone killing the main follicle, make it clean doesn’t do anything. To anyone watching don’t listen to these tips, it’s all genetics. Nothing more nothing less.
