Just found you and your channel/blog a couple weeks ago - what did I ever do without you!!! Love these quick up-do hair styles - I am not so great at wearing my hair down however I want long hair, lol. I am also loving your style tips - I have completed a total upheaval of my wardrobe, got out a bin of my favourite clothes I was not wearing and placed all the unflattering yoga pants and hoodies in the bin - there is a place for these clothes however not everyday. I have worked from home for 10 years and I have a 4 and 11 year old so I just got a little lazy with my wardrobe. Even if no one sees me all day I want to look polished for me!!! Cheers! D

Oh Erin, those were great. My hair is getting longer and the last time I was at my hair stylist she said she would love to cut my hair 4 inches (or to my shoulders). Now I have had a corporate shoulder length hair-do all my life. Now that I am retired, I would like to grow it a bit longer. It is healthy and smooth, and I really care for my hair with good practices and products. I am happy at the length it is now. My hair is about your hair's length or maybe an inch shorter. So just because I am older I resent people thinking I have to cut my perfectly nice hair to suit my age category. Thank you for saying so. I may change my mind later, but for now, I want to experiment with longer hair. But I am going to have to watch this again with the hair elastic and pins at hand so I can do it correctly. I love the one where you parted it and flipped the pony tail inside. Genius. Thank you, sweetie. :-)

Great vlog. At 62 I’ve finally come to grips w/my thin & fine hair. Switching to all natural products, letting my natural color (white/silver/gray) come through and getting a great cut was key. Love fashion but hate doing hair much to the amusement of my daughter who is a hairdresser!

Thanks for making this. Great for summer styles! I've had to cut my hair shorter as I aged but I will never have SHORT hair. It just doesn't work for my hair type. I need weight. I cringe when I see videos saying over 40 you need to cut your hair. You may need more trims and go a bit shorter, but there is nothing wrong with hair below the shoulders for this 54 year old lol.

It seems like your hair has gotten so long, so fast! It’s so pretty and thick! 💛 Loved these, and your tips! My go-to is #3, in fact, recently I went to a wedding, did it up in a “#3”. The only difference was I added a wave to my hair so the pieces that fell would be a softer look for me (I have straight-stick hair) and I was done in less than 15 minutes! I couldn’t believe all the compliments and people asking where I had it done. Lol! 🥰xoxo

Super cute ideas. Your bangs are so flattering. Do you what the cut of them is called - are they curtain bangs? I love the high bun for working out, keeps my hair contained & cleaner, plus I don’t have to worry about catching or laying on it. I cheat it with one of those plastic corkscrew hair bands (invisibobble). A super lazy, but elegant way I’ve created a chignon is a split off style #4 - make a low ponytail secured about 2-3” from your scalp (depending on the length of your hair), flip that like you show in the video and keep stuffing the rest of your hair into the pocket created by the flip.
@BusbeeStyle2 жыл бұрын

I dont know how your hair stays in place only wirh the hair band, i have shoulder long blond hair, not thick but also not thin, and no matter how i try it stays 1 hour and then it unravels, even a ponytail i have to tighten after a while, do you have any tips for that? I do have some problems with my hands, so i know i cannot create difficult hairstyles, but i would love to wear a bun for more than 1 hour🤣. I dont know if it is my hair texture or if i am just very untalented. Love from switzerland ❤

I am sure that it depends on your particular hair, but you may have to secure with pins, or even try a different type of hair band that is more grippy! Thanks for watching! xo

I'm trying to find a no waste salon now that I'm new in Albuquerque (from Los Angeles), and especially for blondes, plus some tape ins. Ideas? My hair is one blunt length, heavy and short (too short) bangs, and needing a fix on color badly! Naturally ash medium blonde about shoulder length and natural wavy as I try not to damage it further. I use these looks often* yet need a layer bob or something fresh for 50!

Since Covid I’ve missed my hair appts a lot this winter and my usual bob is now gone and hair is shoulder length. And I’m not hating it! More style ideas for the older woman with longer hair would be great. Thank you! Oh, forgot. My hair is thick and fine so when I do an updo or low bun, it’s always falling apart.
