The reality is that a cisgender heterosexual woman who _enjoys_ playing a submissive role in the bedroom, does not prevent her or disqualify her from being a feminist. That same woman creating pornography that reflects her sexual pleasure in that submissive role, also does not suddenly make her an unwitting agent of patriarchy: if anything, it may indeed be a feminist response to patriarchal pressures and norms, to take back power from cis-het men who will, without her consent, _force_ her to submit to patriarchal authority and sexual pleasures, but instead turns that on its head, by having the woman be empowered to take control of her own body and sexuality in order to engage in sex that she enjoys, but on her terms, not on the terms of random cis-het men in her life trying to force her to do things she doesn't want to do, when she doesn't want to do it. In the end, the key is always informed and voluntary consent, regardless of who is involved. Obviously, children and those without adult cognizance are not able to legally consent to sexual relations and thus those who cannot legally consent must not be sexually exploited, especially by adults and others who have power over them.

Porn can open up new avenues of understanding, where more people than we thought enjoy such things ( more aggressive sex, things thought to be "obviously" off-limits are not so much, taboo topics, role-play ), BUT, it ought to be about a clear and respectful negotiation. All 4 are literally the same for men, and to the same degree. For example, one. It makes it easier to get off. Men actually have a much harder time using alternative sources like fantasy. So if anything this applies more to men than women. And in regards to the "research" that says it makes it easier for women to get there with a partner.
