1. I like how everything is in walking distances, if I needed to grab a snack, I can walk across the street and buy it. 2. the convienence of laundry, almost every corner, when i visit, had a laundromat and i left my dirty clothes overnight and picked up the next day. 3. motorcycle everywhere, less cars the better!

Add. The music 🎶, specifically the singing. Karaoke 🎤 is the unkempt secret! Singers from Morissette Amon to Regine Velazquez did karaoke 🎤 when they were kids. David Foster likes 👍 many of them. Even the crowds in concerts sing in key 🔑! Amazing 👏 I improved my singing when I got tips in my travels to The Philippines 🇵🇭.

I believe to all what you have said. I had lots of white customers before, they said that in the US, there are lots of disrespectful people. And in the Philippines, they feel important in their community. They feel warm inside. They said, it's awesome here.

Yeah in Phil you have to buy an AC in the US your house or apartment usually comes with central AC.

Yup, I am moving in November and I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the AC unit.

I traveled to the US on a student visa but had to cut my stay. I was surprised that my skin color was an issue, as it had never been a problem for me. Bigotry in the US is much more worse than I had ever imagined, sadly being referred to as a dog-eater several times for no reason. Self-importance is so blatant and out of proportion as if Americans are angry at the world for not being given enough. Most striking is the normality of drug use and schizophrenia. We may see poverty and street children here due to being a below-middle-class country with pathetic low labor wages and inequality, but I have never seen so many unhappy and dangerously wanting people, especially in a country considered the richest in the world.

Great comment, you are spot on, the US does have some really awesome qualities too, I will try to cover some of them in an upcoming video. Do you currently live in the Philippines?

where did you visit? dog eater? sounds like something made up from recent news, ill take this comment with a grain of salt, most of us are welcoming, no matter what skin color youre from

@@walkingmanwalks Of course, the museums and facilities are top-notch, which is enviable considering it is the richest country. The police are incredible. While the majority of the scientists and professors at UC Berkeley are immigrants, bigotry in US society is shamelessly in your face. American towns have it worse. I value my self-respect and do not tolerate unprovoked aggressive insults, so I had to happily leave.

How about those all the time brownouts?
@remigio75153 ай бұрын
Well it's not a problem to us we are used with candle and burning lamps before but we're having a good happy life, what's the fuzz
@walkingmanwalks3 ай бұрын
Actually in the North, Illocos Norte, in the past two years I only remember one or two brownouts. When I was in Mindanao it was more frequent.

It's been my experience and most people I know including other Phils its cheap but they do a pretty bad job. Try to get some decent wifi. You out of luck.
@walkingmanwalks3 ай бұрын
Actually in many cases the wifi in PH is superior to the wifi we have in the mountains of Colorado. The cell signal has better coverage in PH as well. I'm aware that it is because of the Rocky Mountains but still
