My two Venus fly traps are growing two stems. After listening to your advice I’ll cut the stems off. Thank you.

Hello, my fly traps have already flowered, do you suggest I cut them now? Or leave it as it is? Thank you!

I know people say to cut the flower and I understand their point about growing. However I chose to leave mine on just like it would grow in the wild. But I would like to learn how to grow it up from a seed.

I got my plant back in December and I live in Texas. Not much of a winter here. It’s not looking too good. It dried out a couple of times. I’m not giving up on it. I have gave it some water and put it outside in the sun once I saw a couple of your videos. Thanks for these tips. Hoping the little on pulls through!

If you are in a place, such as Texas, that really doesnt have a winter, i suggest putting your flytrap in a fridge. Flytraps are designed to go dormant under 40 degrees Fahrenheit during the months of around November to February or March. Good luck!

I have a high power pellet rifle.. thinking of shooting a bird and placing it near bye to warn off others+ attract flies

@@venusflytrapworld I think next year will be the year I get the flower! I only got my first plant about 1 month ago and it’s pretty young. It’s definitely getting bigger with 5 new fully grown traps and 3 growing traps

@@kowhaifan1249 not this summer because it’s only about 1 year - 1.5 years old. This spring/ summer it 100% should as it’s in dormancy right now in a cold area

Personally, I let all my plants flower purely to collect pollen from them and look at it under microscope, it looks very interesting, trust me!
